Heh the reason the tornado appears to shrink is because right now the tornado movement code is extremely basic, it moves in a straight line from where you're aiming at, aim up and one will just slowly rise, aim down and it will go right down probably past bedrock, unless the tornado 'idles out' due to it not moving anything.

I will be refining it to actually adjust to the terrain elevation soon, as well as a height cutoff so valleys can be a safe spot from tornadoes.

@MrKetpchop I use fraps. I think those specs are fine but heavily underpowered for any real gaming. MC should be fine on small resolutions though.

@SirCrest lol I run minecraft on my 2.54Ghz single core with 512MB of ram and 128VRam xD

I get around 20 frames per second when there are no chunk updates, it's not HORRIBLE, but it's annoying >_<

But I can run games like Half-Life, Half-Life 2 (and the episodes) with no problem, they are awesome games to be able to run on such a low spec stone age PC like mine.
