  • 6:05 - 7:20 (or thereabouts) DO YOU HEAR THIS MR. MATERIALIST?

  • What if the purpose of the universe is to develop a being that can maintain it on their own...well, at least whatever miniscule plot they inhabit. WEll, we can dream, can't we?

  • if you lucid dream, this makes even more sense!

  • @Aaron4BZ definitely!

  • Wow an ACTUAL scientist that isnt anally retentive to schools of thought and egotism. Am I dreaming? And there are some possibly hot chicks in the audience.

  • doesn't any 4 year old figure this stuff out? science they call it....hmm

  • @mrbigtruth34 Yesm, but it gets beaten out of you in the schooling system ;-P

  • Hello Dr. Campbell,

If our consciousness remains conscious after the body dies and keeps a memory of that particular life that just ended until that past life fades away as a dream does, why don't we have any conscious memory when we are sleeping. Why does it have to be that way? Why can't we remain conscious automatically as an out of body experience when we sleep, if our consciousness is not dependent on the body to be aware?

    Thank you.

  • @acccccac : interesting question though. Wish he'd answer.

But i think we tend to wake up when we become conscious during dreams. Although lucid dreaming is possible, that is dreaming with full consciousness and ability to interact. Ofcourse waking up after death isn't a problem :)

  • @acccccac I believe that if we make a conscious choice NOW to remember everything we've learned during this life (and possibly others) that we WILL remember the next time we are born or reincarnated.

  • @acccccac

Such a thing is possible, as in the practice of yoga nidra. However, conscious awareness in sleep state requires a lot of training, for many reasons, one of which is that our awareness is habitually attached to thought. Remove cognitive thought and awareness goes with it. But if one can be aware in a void-mind state, then one can be aware in sleep. Also, as selvmordspilot mentioned, there is lucid dreaming.

  • We use R3x to process remotely large groups of consciousness, and it is becoming easier and more effective. Research ongoing and thanks to "My Big Toe" for vallidating and guiding our separate work :-)

  • so far

    assumptions requried: 2

    information derived from it: 0

  • he dont mention any thing about God

would his theory hold up or work for the starving kids in africa

  • mind opening and thinking

every (think) is only because you are (thinking) it now

in relation to what you are thinking

  • Listen all right.. to his NLP .. and his mind numbing charts.. he has your eyes and ears.. and is turning you in circles.. this man works for the agents of the Dark Side... pure and simple, he is out to confuse and misinform! This man is a liar and a soul sucking vampire! Do your homework, learn the tricks the CRAFT is using to manipulate your mind and start programming YOURSELF! Jordan Maxwell is the most educated man i have encountered on such subjects.. Do some searching and seek truth

  • Wow: I wish I could make a living use my personal logic and progressive rational to make a living, and I'll bet you have done very well over the years. I also am a 20 year student of the same disciplines that you suggest have produced data which you state in your conclusions. However if by science your model is to be accepted then you must incontrovertibly quantify your findings.. and this you have not accomplished. what you state is just your theory and as the expression goes "Every one has one"

  • ... relationships evolve. ect

  • What a fool. There is an unthinkable thought which is unthinkable because if all is one (a single universe, a single reality, energymassspacetime) it cannot be viewed or observed from "outside", there cannot be an observer observing partlessnes. Reality is the unthinkable thought, we describe it, it is that which is being described and my both eyes (all sensors) point toward "one". Hence a raelm of mind: the mind of a primate evolved by the survival of the most surviving, from atoms colliding.

  • @1one1in0zero0

    ... continue watching. :)

  • @1one1in0zero0

The preface addresses what you complain about.

  • He definately is starting on a firm scientific background, but what he's claiming to do is a a TALL order.

  • @newbetterandhappy Please learn to spell 'definitely'... there is DEFINITELY no 'A' in definitely. Please start correcting other people also.

  • @mikeyo1234 LOLOL As if THAT is important...

  • @carriellbee Replying months after someone has posted a comment is irritating. I don't have the time to work out what you are responding to. It's more youtubes fault I suppose... they need to redesign it. Currently I have to scroll through millions of comments to try and work out what you are replying to. A HUGE design flaw which makes you tube comments worthless.

  • @mikeyo1234 First of all, there aren't that many comments on this video, so I would think you would be capable of figuring it out. But maybe my expectation of you is just as unreasonable as YOUR expectation of someone else (newbetterandhappy) to spell correctly. And just an observation: you need to relax.

  • He is running way over most of their heads.

I understand all of it though.

  • that's an incorrect and ego driven statement

  • @rbolo29 if you look up arrogance in the dictionary, you will find your comment.

  • @rbolo29 way to put yourself on a pedestal there..

  • you cannot touch the tip of your finger with the tip of your finger. (system/subsystem example)

  • This guy knows a lot!

  • The ideas this Dr. mentions regarding the physical reality(the material world, objective, sub-system), and also, the non-physical(Consciousness, subjective, the larger systems, are completely foreing to to traditional thinking. After watching the series of Dr. Campbell's videos over and over again, I finally understood his Theory of everything. I belive his theory is accurate; especially, since he has the scientific evidence to prove it. Would one accept fact Vs tradition? That's the question

  • @acccccac Indeed. I feel that one of the main problems of science is to let go of traditional thinking. It worked for the time, now we need to move on. It doesnt make anyone who challenges it wrong or offensive, at least not in reality.

  • Excellent.

I *am* his target audience -- I've had OBEs and believe in a 'larger reality' but I also like to poke holes in New Age rubbish.

I'm listing objections to him as he goes -- and I keep having to cross them out. The biggest two were a misprision of evolution as teleological, and the term 'larger' reality (something nonphysical does not have size.)

But he's already dismissed these 2. I have more, but I'm going to keep listening, and if he keeps this up, I'm definitely buying his book.

  • @fourplusseven

Your comment was and is at the vibrational frequency of *awesome* with ***.

  • @fourplusseven

And ~*~. The world loves you in its own way, remember that.

  • great video!

  • Oh was that what i am?

thats a valid point thats wrong never always !!!!!!!

    hahahahahaha

  • from my observations of the general public, your comment included,it looks as though you need not worry
