  • @CreoleSkipster How do I reset the ADB? I have the same problems with the force close on opening the app but can't find where to reset my emulator.

  • Found my problem. For those having emulator problems with force closes and what not, go to DDMS and reset ADB to reset your emulator.

  • @Snobban94 sry for posting my problem i found out that the navigator is't the same as the package explorer ^^

  • I corrected the errors with the 1.6 java compiler but get a force close when the emulator tries to run the app. Help anyone?

  • @benbur16507 Go to your project/ide preferences and set the java compiler level to 1.6.

    1.) That's Right click the project folder in eclipse or any program you use.

    2.) Click Properties

    3.) Go to Java Compiler

    4.) Check Enable Project specific settings

    5.) Make sure you got the Compiler compliance level to 1.6

    6.) Click Apply then Ok!

    You should be alright then. =] Cheers

  • When adding the sprite sample code, getting errors on the @Override on methods. Says methods must override a super class method?

  • @benbur16507 I think you forgot to import.... hover on the error and wait for an import context menu to pop up and click it...

  • @benbur16507 I've got the same error, and there is no import context menu, just says "remove @override annotation". It crops up in 4 places.
