I have been having pain in my right testicle from varicocele. I have had an ultrasound and it showed that I only have a small left varicocele. But the pain has been persisting. Any ideas?

In my 50s now, but excrutiating pain of testicles started in puberty & has continued throughout the yrs. Got married, had kids, great sex/married life but pain recurring throughout the years. Nuts still tender to touch. In late 20s pain checked by Dr: left nut smaller than right, no cancer, antibiotics for pain. At 52 had Testerone check, low - 171, now doing TRT. Seems pain/nut size may be varicocele. Can Dr.s/experts out there say if low T has anything to do with varicocele? Thanks!

Some days are worse than others.

My urologist took an ultrasound and urine test but couldn't find anything.

My family doctor seems to think it's built up scar tissue that's abrasive, and according to him there's nothing that can be done.

The discomfort comes at the end of they typically.

If the discomfort continues I'm going back to the urologist for a MRI.

It's worrisome because I don't want to live with discomfort , especially in this area of my body that is particularly sensitive.

I had the procedure done when I was 16-17 years old.

I had what they call the "bag of worms", enlarged veins in my left teste.

I've never had any issue until recently.

I've recently had episodes of sharp shooting pains in my left teste. this was the day after I was given a physical by my family doctor.

This lasted for 2 or so days.

Motrin helped a bit.

Since then I haven't had the intense pain, but still what I would call "nagging discomfort" for about 3-4 weeks now.

Hi guys, had surgery when I was 21. I got an injection that makes the veins smaller. It helped. After a month I could really see the difference. Started noticing it when I was 15 or so. I am 24 and have no pain anymore, will let u know if my first child is born ;)

CAN I LIFT WEIGHTS WITH A VARICOCELE? MY UROLOGISTS DID NOT WANT TO OPERATE ON ME BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WOULD RETURN. I REALLY LIKE LIFTING WEIGHTS BUT I AM AFRAID OF HURTING SOMETHING. AFTER I DO WEIGHTS I FEEL PAIN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ABDOMEN THE NEXT DAY BUT ITS NOT TOO BAD.

hi, i had surgery 4 months back,my veins vanished for 3 days and then returning back and still there. I am tensed and feel surgery faliure .I actually had bilateral one,grade I on left and grade 2 on right. D u feel in my case surgery faliure?

I've had a varicocele for a long time, and it sometimes flares up. I'm going through one of those flare ups right now. Standing a long time gets it irritated, and the pain goes down my left leg. I sure don't want to have surgery, but I may be forced to eventually.

I am suffering from a lot of pain some time it hurts a lot.

my question is should i go vericocel embolization? after post surgery will my back pain reduced or my back pain and the testicel pain are the 2 different story.Please guide

Hello, Now I am very nervous, because I thought I may have a varicocele, nut now after hearing you say it dissapears after i lay down. I still see an odd looking mass inside my scrotum. It is kind of a squishy feeling mass. Could this be cancer? Or do u stilll think it is a varicocele?  Thanks and great video.

HI. Sir i m diagnosed varicocele and i m worried if during surgery there is a risk of cut of spermatic cord. and also does after surgery you come to a very normal routine life or have some little sexual problem , or problems associate with ur fertility.

i am diagnosed after my pain not due to infertility. and my age is 22.

@rajahamzakhan Very seldom is the spermatic cord injured at the time the varicocele is identified and ligated. Removing the varicocele does not affect erections or ejaculation. If that is normal, it should be preserved. Neil Baum
