@eightlines14 Slide out the delrin bolt and look down into the slot. You will see the striker at the bottom. The striker has a hole that the bolt top cocking knob connects into. Make sure the top cocking knob is lined up with the hole on the striker and connected when you puch down on the top cocking knob.
@MoreMoneyMoreHunny The maximum rate of fire you can achieve in semi-auto is 25 bps (balls per second) and Ramp M is 15 bps Ramp P 13 bps. Those are pre-programmed onto the board and can not be adjusted.

@babytoys117 Yes. What I'm not sure is how you're having trouble putting in your battery. The battery should be sitting next to the circuit board, not on top of it. If you were trying to set the battery on top of the circuit board then that's how the circuit board terminals are getting in your way.
@kingmangroup the battery IS in the right spot but the first tme the wires were in the way and when put it in i put under the wires (didnt work) so i took them out put the battery in put the wires back in and THEN the red wire fell out
I just got my electra and when i inserted the battery there were three little (boxes) that had a couple plugs in them and they prevented my from putting in the battery then i took them out and put them back on and a red plug fell out of the (box) does this mean anything?
@babytoys117 Mkae sure the wires are plugged in the correct terminal. The battery wire connection should be plugged in the horizontal terminal right next to the charger port. The "red plug" you are refering to is called a circuit jumper, is for locking the firing mode of the marker and should be on the terminal located next to the battery close to the bottom of the circuit board.

@GhostKid0201 It sounds like either the battery you're using is weak or the work load you have from the rear velocity adjuster is too much. Basically, if you screw in the rear velocity adjuster too far in, you increasing the work load of the solenoid/coil set and the power demanded from the battery also increases. Back it out to flush to alleviate the work load, then increase your velocity by adjusting the inline regulator. Turn the inline regulator adjutser counter clockwise to adjust.
Will spyder make new 2011 marker for .68 caliber or will you guys stick with .50 cal cuz I miss seeing ur new .68 cal markers and u guys should try to make a spool valve gun
@wildbear117 Remember, the .50 Caliber product line is designed to complement the .68 Caliber and is meant to be an alternative. It is not a replacement or mean Kingman is changing over to .50 Caliber only. We will have .43 Caliber for Kingman Training, .50 Caliber Spyder and Standard .68 Caliber available.
I am having problems with the top cocking knob staying in the delrin bolt. It will cock the gun but pulls out easlily causing the delrin bolt to slide out while in use. Any advice? PLZ RESPOND ASAP!!!

K thanks and will this also help my re cocking issues because when I have a low velocity the bolt will not always go forward and I have to recock it often

@slgslayar Fasta 9 Volt with will give you 15 balls per second feed rate. I like black and as far as cleaning and maintenance, it's better to post these questions on the Spyder forums.
@wildbear117 Adjust the regulator output by turning the regulator adjuster counter clockwise. Turn it one full turn then test the velocity. Make sure you start with the rear velocity adjuster at zero, meaning flush with the striker plug and not turned in.
@stuntdevils666 Yes, the Electra is availble it most paintbal stores. The eyes are a detection system to make sure a paintball is porperly loaded into the breach of the marker before it fires to prevent chopping paintballs.
@AnythingIpodTouch Blinking green LED on the Tadao board means the eyes are working and there are no paintballs detected in the breach. If you put the tip of a swab or pen in the breach, it will go to solid green meaning it detects an object in the breach. If the trigger is barely moving, it maybe because you over adjusted the trigger and is right up against the trigger switch.

@slipknottty If you have a chance to get the Spyder battery and charger combo, get it with the marker. It will save you from having to buy batteries everytime you go out and play. Also, use a forcefeed type loader like a Fasta to get the most performance out your new Electra.
@sixaxis171 Electronic markers are very reliable and the Spyders are easy to maintain but with any equipment proper maintenance is always key. Do not make modifications to your marker unless you have all the information and proper knowledge of what you are doing. Most problems players encounter with ther equipment was from make unnecassary.
@AnythingIpodTouch The 3 modes on the Eletcra is Semi, Ramp P (15 bps) & Ramp M (13 bps)
Ramp mode is where the marker will shoot up to the rate of firs cap when you sustain a trigger pull of 3 trigger pulls per second on Ramp P and 5 trigger pulls per second on Ramp M

@TeChHoCkEy30 eyes are a anti-chop system meaning if you try and fire without a ball being in front of of the eye ( which is on the front of the bolt) it wont fire saving you from dry shooting or chopping paint. yes it is a nice gun, upgraded from the pilot.
semi, ramping psp, and ramping millinuim(at least thats what it is on the pilot)it was meant for tournament(psp) but will do just fine in the woods as long as you dont get flashy colors, i suggest black, im thinking about getting this gun
@master08steveo Yes, the Electra is 68 Caliber but it does not include the rechargeable battery and charger. However, you can use "Premium" brand alkaline batteries to operate the marker or upgrade to a a rechargeable battery and charger combo that is available online or from your local stores.
@camilozv An elctronic marker like the Electra has the eyes which is a paintball detection feature that prevents paintball chops. Upgrading to an electronic trigger does not normally offer this feature.
@mnrmyc The Pilot is quite basic and the Electra has a few standard features that are normally upgrades on markers. The Electra has an inline regulator, on/off bottomline ASA, aluminum trigger frame and 2 piece step bore barrel.
Kingman, im not sure if its just my gun but when i go to shoot sometimes the bolt sticks like half an inch in after a couple of shots and i have to recock it. please tell me whats goin on, thanks.

ok well when i put my tank in and turn it on i pull the trigger and i hear the click put no air comes out. also when i hold the trigger for 3 seconds to uncock my knob it doesnt move it just clicks.
ok so i pulled the bolt back with no air in it and know the bolt wont go back forward. also when i put my tank and hopper on and turn the ASA on i hear the air seep out so i know its on but when i pull the trigger nothing happens. the safety is off and everything i dont know what the deal is.
@airsoftking987 Make sure your battery is fresh and your using a premium brand battery like Duracell Ultra or Energizer Max for alkalines. If you turned in the rear velocity adjuster to increase the velocity, back it out to where it's flush even with the plug. Increase the output of the regulator by turning the adjuster out or counter-clockwise instead to increase the velocity. Use the rear velocity to fine tune if your velocity is within 10 feet per second of where you want to set it at.

Pull the bolt thing from the top out and clean the hole with like a barrel cleaning device and just put it back on then give it a try

im having a small prblem with my electra idk if its low c02 or dieng battery or what but when im playin with it itll act like it dont want to shoot like i can shoot one paint ball an keep pullin the trigger an itll jus click an i can keep clickin an itll shoot another 1 or 2 paintballs then start just clicking again i JUST got it too, what does the marker do if the c02 starts gettin low?? an wat does it do when the battery gets low? PLEASE HELP IM A PAINT BALL LOVER

@GhostKid0201 It sounds like either the battery you're using is weak or the work load you have from the rear velocity adjuster is too much. Basically, if you screw in the rear velocity adjuster too far in, you increasing the work load of the solenoid/coil set and the power demanded from the battery also increases. Back it out to flush to alleviate the work load, then increase your velocity by adjusting the inline regulator. Turn the inline regulator adjutser counter clockwise to adjust.

Will spyder make new 2011 marker for .68 caliber or will you guys stick with .50 cal cuz I miss seeing ur new .68 cal markers and u guys should try to make a spool valve gun

@wildbear117 Remember, the .50 Caliber product line is designed to complement the .68 Caliber and is meant to be an alternative. It is not a replacement or mean Kingman is changing over to .50 Caliber only. We will have .43 Caliber for Kingman Training, .50 Caliber Spyder and Standard .68 Caliber available.

I am having problems with the top cocking knob staying in the delrin bolt. It will cock the gun but pulls out easlily causing the delrin bolt to slide out while in use. Any advice? PLZ RESPOND ASAP!!!

K thanks and will this also help my re cocking issues because when I have a low velocity the bolt will not always go forward and I have to recock it often

@wildbear117 If the regulator is set with too low of an output, then the marker will not have enough air to recock but this would only be if the regulator adjuster is screwed in all the way against the bottom of the regulator.

@slgslayar Fasta 9 Volt with will give you 15 balls per second feed rate. I like black and as far as cleaning and maintenance, it's better to post these questions on the Spyder forums.

@wildbear117 Adjust the regulator output by turning the regulator adjuster counter clockwise. Turn it one full turn then test the velocity. Make sure you start with the rear velocity adjuster at zero, meaning flush with the striker plug and not turned in.

@stuntdevils666 Yes, the Electra is availble it most paintbal stores. The eyes are a detection system to make sure a paintball is porperly loaded into the breach of the marker before it fires to prevent chopping paintballs.

@AnythingIpodTouch Blinking green LED on the Tadao board means the eyes are working and there are no paintballs detected in the breach. If you put the tip of a swab or pen in the breach, it will go to solid green meaning it detects an object in the breach. If the trigger is barely moving, it maybe because you over adjusted the trigger and is right up against the trigger switch.

i had just bought the Spyder Electra and its nice but i have a few problems and i had purchased the Kingman Tadao Spyder VS Upgrade Board as well and have some few questions. the upgraded board dose not have a LED display so i cant tell if its in safe or fire why? and the charging port dose not line up

@slipknottty If you have a chance to get the Spyder battery and charger combo, get it with the marker. It will save you from having to buy batteries everytime you go out and play. Also, use a forcefeed type loader like a Fasta to get the most performance out your new Electra.

@sixaxis171 Electronic markers are very reliable and the Spyders are easy to maintain but with any equipment proper maintenance is always key. Do not make modifications to your marker unless you have all the information and proper knowledge of what you are doing. Most problems players encounter with ther equipment was from make unnecassary.

@AnythingIpodTouch The 3 modes on the Eletcra is Semi, Ramp P (15 bps) & Ramp M (13 bps)
Ramp mode is where the marker will shoot up to the rate of firs cap when you sustain a trigger pull of 3 trigger pulls per second on Ramp P and 5 trigger pulls per second on Ramp M

As a question, being an intermediate paintballer , I am looking for a pretty nice gun and am wondering if the different features on this marker are okay. What are 'eyes'? Is this a nice marker? What are the differences in the firing modes? Is this gun best for tournament play or woodsball? Thanks.

@TeChHoCkEy30 eyes are a anti-chop system meaning if you try and fire without a ball being in front of of the eye ( which is on the front of the bolt) it wont fire saving you from dry shooting or chopping paint. yes it is a nice gun, upgraded from the pilot.
semi, ramping psp, and ramping millinuim(at least thats what it is on the pilot)it was meant for tournament(psp) but will do just fine in the woods as long as you dont get flashy colors, i suggest black, im thinking about getting this gun

@master08steveo Yes, the Electra is 68 Caliber but it does not include the rechargeable battery and charger. However, you can use "Premium" brand alkaline batteries to operate the marker or upgrade to a a rechargeable battery and charger combo that is available online or from your local stores.

@camilozv An elctronic marker like the Electra has the eyes which is a paintball detection feature that prevents paintball chops. Upgrading to an electronic trigger does not normally offer this feature.

@mnrmyc The Pilot is quite basic and the Electra has a few standard features that are normally upgrades on markers. The Electra has an inline regulator, on/off bottomline ASA, aluminum trigger frame and 2 piece step bore barrel.

ok well when i put my tank in and turn it on i pull the trigger and i hear the click put no air comes out. also when i hold the trigger for 3 seconds to uncock my knob it doesnt move it just clicks.

ok so i pulled the bolt back with no air in it and know the bolt wont go back forward. also when i put my tank and hopper on and turn the ASA on i hear the air seep out so i know its on but when i pull the trigger nothing happens. the safety is off and everything i dont know what the deal is.

@airsoftking987 Make sure your battery is fresh and your using a premium brand battery like Duracell Ultra or Energizer Max for alkalines. If you turned in the rear velocity adjuster to increase the velocity, back it out to where it's flush even with the plug. Increase the output of the regulator by turning the adjuster out or counter-clockwise instead to increase the velocity. Use the rear velocity to fine tune if your velocity is within 10 feet per second of where you want to set it at.
