I think the reason it was such a short lived show, is the presentation of the game mechanics were too weak. When it came to revealing a money amount, there was no real anticipation, more than a waiting game. No peril to make the visual execution payoff. Take out the voting aspect to, it was useless. Leave the ball in the court of the one pressing the button.
@pseudoplastico Agreed on all counts. Part of that "visual execution" that bothered me was the numbers on the screen were so small that they were very difficult to read. And yes, the voting was useless. The lights on the front of the podiums also seemed to malfunction constantly. The "Extended Play" bonus also wasn't very well explained.
