As an Army Mom, this song brings me comfort as I know God hears and answers prayers. This song brings me comfort because I know that my son knows this is true, too. He is in Afghanistan, what I call the Sandbox. May God bless our soldiers, near and far, no matter what branch of service they are in. All of us fight to protect what we hold so close and dear to our hearts - liberty, freedom, and justice for all, whether they be American o not.
my husband just left for deployment a couple days ago, he will be gone for 8 mths. we have a 3 yr old daughter and a 1 yr old son. i am sad every day we have to be apart but i know we can make it through this. we have been married for over 2 years now and have a strong faith in each other, and an amazing loving marriage. each time im sad i tell myself to suck it up because i know he has it way worse than i over there fighting hard for us out of the comfort of home. keep praying please!
I also love this song and just borrowed it to put on my FB page because my son is within 2 months of finishing his OSUT at Ft.Benning, then on to jump school and to Bragg for sp.forces assessment and possible training. God bless all of our troops past and present. I'd like to think we have plenty of soldier angels in heaven waiting for us when we arrive. HOOAH!!!
I love this song. My brother's in his 17th year in the Army as a blackhawk pilot. GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR ALL THE SACRIFICES YOU ALL MAKE, ALL THE FIRSTS IN THE FAMILY YOU ALL MISS. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE SERVED, ARE SERVING & FUTURE !!!!!!
I am a 20 year navy veteran and would like to know why it is getting hard to find this song. It irritates me what this nation is becoming. We all need something to cling to in hard times. This country was built on our belief in God and it seems any time an artist makes a song with mention of God in it, it wants to disappear. This saddens me deeply. God Bless and protect our troops.
