hahahaha I had a similar situation with a guy I know I didn't realise till after. I was talking to him about going back to training whilst I was around his girlfriend. I didn't really mean to make him feel off put as he's not really into exercise, I was just being enthusiastic about going back to training after a year. This works without a doubt... my ex gf's brother got out of prison, dude was 300+ solid muscle and im about 170 on a good day. This is of superb quality. I experienced a lot of the overly-dominant behavior in school growing up, but I realize now it's because I made myself either a shakey soft target or someone with whom it was easy to get a rise out of. I once lived in a dangerous neighborhood and learned rather fast that if someone is going to perpetrate a violent act, they just do it. This is of superb quality. I experienced a lot of the overly-dominant behavior in school growing up, but I realize now it's because I made myself either a shakey soft target or someone with whom it was easy to get a rise out of. Since I've developed my own comfort zone and I adapt when people cross it. It throws you off a bit, but you end up handling confrontational situations much better.

Yeah, thats why i prefer male friends to female..most my female friends are ladettes, I dont 'get' girlys that much, Males are so much cooler to hang out with and dont bitch and gossip like girls do. We're not all like that though..you should go for a ladette in future and avoid thick girly types like the plague. Ladettes tend to relate to men better and therefore most that game play shite is usually out of the picture.. unless you get one with a personality disorder or something. :o)

In all reality, Alpha Males are so rare, thugs, jerks, and studs aren't really alpha males...but insecure punks who use heavyhanded tactics because they don't know who act correctly in social situations...Alpha Males are probably 1/10of 1% of the male population...for every 100 males, 50 are nice guys, or "beta males", 49 are jerks, or wannabe alpha males, and just 1 are real Alpha Males...

"Insecurity" is completely misrepresented. Some psychology wanna-be's say things like bullies only bully because they are "Insecure", or if you call anyone gay you are "insecure" about your sexuality. In reality it's more about the games people play, and getting one up on each other. Validation and attention grabbing can get called insecure. Improving your attractiveness (Men working out, women wearing make-up or getting boob jobs), all these get the "insecure" label.

I was last called "insecure" by my father for being interested in martial arts- I contemplated it and decided that he might be right to some extent, then I questioned whether his own "insecurity" or "lack of self worth" led him to feel driven to point this out to me. Interesting stuff re the elements of sexuality contained within potential threat behaviour - I believe the evolutionary basis for 'finger pointing' comes from the behaviour seen in many primate species where the dominant male displays his erect penis to another primate as an aggressive behaviour - non dominant males have to hide their erections if the boss is about as they get a beating -however if they want to fight then they flash it for the boss to see in order to provoke him.
