  • FIGHT THE CORPERATE STATE

  • Time to spray the libbys for fleas!

    LMAO

  • DICTATORSHIP

  • The school code/penal code prohibiting camping out in tents on the campus ground IS for the safety of the students. Safety has nothing to do with the condition of your tents or the message you're trying to express. Safety has to deal with the fact that campus grounds are not gated-in and random people can travel onto campus grounds at any time. You can have someone come on campus with a knife or a gun and hurt people in the tents. Frat parties are different, they take place INDOORS.

  • pepper spray is the safest level of police law inforcment besides their words WHICH YOU WOULDNT LISTEN TO! And riot police, are you kidding me? Riot police have smoke bombs, sheilds, and smoke gernades with permission to use them. Those were just campus police and a few local community officers. And with all the crap asside, you deserved it.

  • RIOT POLICE? They were campus police with only non-lethal weapons. They didn't even bring in the smoke grenades and compressed waters hoses.

  • Wow what a bunch of shit. He's a FRESHMAN and he think he has the knowledge and capacity to protest? He's just joining the bandwagon for a cause he knows nothing about.

  • 1. The OWS groups have been known to break laws and have been hostile to the police.

    2. Police officers are trained to use pepper spray properly. They certainly know more about it than any college kid will.

    3. "First Amendment Rights" does not include the right to encircle cops while shouting "fuck the police."

The protestors seem to confuse "first amendment rights", which they have, with "the right to do whatever the fuck we want", which they do not have.

  • They WERE showing violence by saying that if the police were to go away the protest would be peaceful, there by saying that while the police are there, the students will become agressive, that is a form of threatening there by a form of violence

  • has this guy ever been to a frat party.......maybe that's why he is protesting.

  • you treated the riot police to release students by trapping them at the university. student should just read up on their schools policies and find a way to make your protest more meaning full, instead of laying on the quad all day. That's how we got more funding and classes for our engineering department and i didnt get pepper sprayed.

  • Someone needs to round house this dude in the dome

  • You don't get to tell the police what to do. If you try, bad things happen. 'nuff said.

  • Is unlawful imprisonment not reason for using force? It is a class C felony !

  • The protesters blocked the police in and stopped them from leaving. The police had to pepper spray them. Watch the full video, not the shorts for the whole picture.

  • @Duskmelt No. They didn't have to pepperspray them. That is completely illogical. Getting in someone's way does not give them warrant to use chemical weapons on your face.

  • @JackLeDnat The police asked them to move nicely many times and the didn't. Whats your logical alternative to pepper spray genius?

  • @ForlornHope1337 step over them. arrest them. push your way through. not pepper spray them.

  • @JackLeDnat how do you step over a group of people several ranks deep while trying to transport prisoners? If you try to arrest them or push your way through what if they resist?

  • @ForlornHope1337 Well, if you saw the video you would have seen multiple instances of officers stepping over the sitting protesters. And if they resist you use force. If you're in immediate danger, fine, use your chemical weapons. But they weren't in immediate danger. The pepper spray was not used to stop an attacker.

  • @JackLeDnat They are resisting you moron, by creating a human wall and blatantly attempting to hold the officers their against their will they are physically resisting if not attacking. This is grounds for use of force at the officers discretion and pepper spray is the safest level of force to disperse a crowd apart from physically picking up and moving each person.

  • @JackLeDnat pepper spray is used to gain compliance from person(s) who are resisting....it hurts like hell but it's a lot better than getting tazed or smacked with a baton. How many times did the students need to be told to move off the sidewalk? If they would have moved to the grass none of this would have happened. The fact is that they were looking for the police to use some type of force on them so they could use it to rally support against police.

  • @JackLeDnat "step over them" - wait, my boot accidentally struck your head because you wouldnt move and i was made to step over you and now youre crying POLICE BRUTALITY.

"arrest them" - sure, lets arrest ALL these "kids" and waste more of taxpayer's money

"push your way through" - Oh no you pushed TOO HARD, POLICE BRUTALITY.

I hate you police officer, youre the worst, die! *bad man appears* Help police officer! I need you, why arent you serving me?! I pay for your salary!

  • @JackLeDnat So the police shoudl use physical force and risk injury to themselves and others rather than use a tool that could prevent serious injury to the officer and the subject?

    Why?

  • What a useful idiot. Military grade pepperspray? I spent 10 years in the military. Pepper spray is banned by under the laws of ground warfare. The military does not use pepper spray. The police do.

The protesters surrounded the police blocking their path. The police repeatedly ordered the protesters to leave. The police took action after the protesters refused to permit the police to leave.

    Perfectly preventable outcome.

  • @sapper12b3pf7 Warning someone that you're going to use excessive force does not make using excessive force okay. It's really just indescribable how much it destroys me to see fucking morons like yourself defending the shit that happened. Really. What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you so afraid of a shift in the status quo that you're condoning this shit? And this might come off as angry, but it's really just disappointment. Regardless, go fuck yourself.

  • @JackLeDnat Telling police they cannot leave until they release arrested prisoners is not okay. It's really just indescribable how much it destroys me to see fucking morons like yourself defending the protesters. Really. What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you so desperate for a shift in the status quo that you're condoning this shit? And this might come off as angry, but it's really just disappointment. Regardless, go fuck yourself.

  • @krussjr How very clever of you.

Also, the police stepped over the line of protesters multiple times. They had the ability to leave.

  • @JackLeDnat It is not excessive force. It is a use of force. What would you have preferred? Batons? Tazers? Bean bag rounds? Bullets?

The protesters prevented the police from leaving. The police warned the prostesters they were going to take action. The police acted. The action did not result in any serious injury to police or protesters. That's a success.

A little aside. Adults can disagree without resorting to vulgarities.

    Grow up.

  • @sapper12b3pf7 no they use CS gas you would rather have CS? and we all had to go there in the chamber or did you forget?

  • @miazizdragon2

they train our soldiers with CS but they don't use it on the battle field. Not only that but haveing been trained in the army with CS and as a law enforcement officer with pepperspray. I will take the CS everyday.

  • @sapper12b3pf7 Pepper spray is less potent less likely to cause heart attacks and can be washed off CS can not but if you would rather you have not been hit with both, I have pepper spray any time I laughed at pepper spray ! Literary !

  • @sapper12b3pf7 Oh yeah btw they have used it on the battle field many times, for reasons like extraction of civilians from a force of combatants .

  • thats ignorance, I like it

  • thats passion, I like it
