not exactly, cos i tend to waste a lot more time trying to understand the tabs... its hard to read without timing reference... faster to just try to listen and get the chords out first, then cross reference to them n adjust again...

WOW!!! I've studied some Jazz guitar, but I love that you figured out the non-conventional voicings! Seems the bass line always threw me off. He uses his thumb!  Awesome!!!
