Its not that I liked the show better when Paige came along. Believe me, it sucked w/o Doherty. But the show became more interesting because their powers grew, more powerful demons showed up, and there's a lot of complications they need to straighten out. Not because Prue died. That part SUCKED.

It's probabaly because Piper is the only one who would still probably be living in the manor. She is the most earthy sister who doesn't do change and sticks to her roots. I think it's nice it ended with one of the least famous actressses!

Actualy shannen was in talks with them to let them use her image in the show after she left ,but brad kern said the budget would not allow for it,as they would have to pay her for a full episode even iff only one picture was shown ,so because he was unwilling to reach into his pocket ,we never got to see shannen again !,blame kern not doherty !

prues death didnt even make sense becuz on the last episode of 3 season cole made a deal witth the sorce of evil to change history to avoid piper's death and at the end of the episode cole was still prisoner of the source. then the next episode he was with phoebe what happened there? and they didnt give any clues about how she died either besides piper telling leo he shoulda saved prue than her they shoulda did something about that it doesnt makee sense anyways i luv your ending! =)

I mean not only the death of Prue was the uncoolest thing ever, but the plot became a little bit stupid after the third season.
Maybe even the fourth season was ok, but after that the show just became lame, no more cool demons, different daily plots or that detectivesque style, the show just became the sisters being attacked one time after another.
Yeah, they never explored the relationships between them or even almost never showed again some of the happy and relaxing times of the sisters in P3 like they used to :o(

Um on the Season 8 COMMENTARY to Forever Charmed Kern admits he never asked Shannen back as he couldn't afford to pay her (that was his excuse anyway) he also said the same for Julian McMahon.
and try to add a photo of prue when they are walking up the stairs at 0:38-1:10 please and try to add the shades on the outside so it can match the wall color
when the door opens at 1:10 try to take the kids out of the shot

when prue closes the door at 1:16, the outside of the house is white, so when it takes a shot from farther back at 1:17 its kind of yellow so when prue closes the door change the white around the door to the shade of yellow
ya know, i think they should've brought the same actress in from season 5's cathouse. even if it was from behind, we ALL would've known who it was from the sound effects to the motion of her arm. it would've at least made up(a little bit) for knocking her completely out of the photo montage!! anyone agree?
there budget got cut by 20% for the final season. alot of the production staff allowed there pay to be cut to allow for the season to be worth anything at all.
love prue..would like to vanquish brad kern for the mess he made of this show. the original chemistry is what made it great. tried to watch seasons 4-8 but yuck. it became the phoebe admiration society. make a movie with shannen and fix this mess

After they let Shannen Doherty go, the series became lame.
After season 4 it was horrible to watch.

How do you know she was even asked? Kern probaly never asked for permission to use her image in "Cat House" as he'd need to pay her the salary required by law.

@brendasback she wouldnt have she made that clear in a interveiw in sci fi monthly and on various tv shows and it was because of shannen the dvds took sooooo long to come out because they couldnt use her image on the covers etc untill they won the rights too

The DVDs thing is a crock of shit, there is no way Shannen could have had the power to hold that up just becaose of her image. Some fans believe ANYTHING they hear or read.
And yes I do believe Shannen would have returned in 2006 had Kern only asked her, she wasn't gonna go crawling to him.

@brendasback she did have the right to hold her image same way she wouldnt let them release any pics unless she was in the middle .. shannen was a drama queen plain and simple and charmed was much better without her !!! pluss if you watch the extras dvd in the charmed book boxset brad kern said "we wanted to have a familiar face return to end the show but unfortunately we couldnt afford too so we just made reffrences to this person in the final episode" so looks like he did ask her !! :D

Um on the Season 8 COMMENTARY to Forever Charmed Kern admits he never asked Shannen back as he couldn't afford to pay her (that was his excuse anyway) he also said the same for Julian McMahon.

when the door opens at 1:10 try to take the kids out of the shot
and
when prue closes the door at 1:16, the outside of the house is white, so when it takes a shot from farther back at 1:17 its kind of yellow so when prue closes the door change the white around the door to the shade of yellow

ya know, i think they should've brought the same actress in from season 5's cathouse. even if it was from behind, we ALL would've known who it was from the sound effects to the motion of her arm. it would've at least made up(a little bit) for knocking her completely out of the photo montage!! anyone agree?

there budget got cut by 20% for the final season. alot of the production staff allowed there pay to be cut to allow for the season to be worth anything at all.

there are others way to show Prue coming back in the fianle without even not showing Shannen's face, they should just make a woman with black hair appear like paige and make her closed the door, everyone will know that Prue was the one who did it, and not even showing Shannen's face just showing her back but stupid BRAD KERN I mean he is not CREATIVE!!! PRUE was the show!!! and This show got more higher rating on the early seasons becuase of her. Tha is why Charmed is know right now

I think she should have put her personal feelings aside for this one episode. She was still best friends with Holly, and the fans would be really happy if she'd done it.
