Huffman pushed 49 inches off his top hand. Probably the most efficient short guy in history. If the pertov technique is a continuous chain of motion then Huffman found a way to perfect petrovs idea. a continuous chain of motion even throughout the flyaway.
PVJules.......Thanks so much for the video clips. I get a serious thrill looking at these great athletes flying over the bar. I'm glad that I vaulted back in H.S. and college but man.....to fly like these men would have been so Hectic!! I still have dreams of my own days back in the 70's and early 80's. When I made a new height. It was like time stood still. You've brought back so many great memories for me and have stoked me out for all these great vaulters. Thanks again!
huffman has vaulted with his feet together. But the huffman role was a crowed favorite so he vaults the way he does. everyones form is different. Good video.
why are you so obsessed with Huffman and his silly fucking spinning and straddling the crossbar? if he kept his feet together maybe he could actually get all the way rocked back and bust 4-6in more
I'm not obsessed with Huffman... but it's a way to make different pole vault video than the thousand others...
At the beginning, I put just one video of Huffman in my first video "Pole vault makes you upset" and I recieved a lot of comment about this man. So I decided to find and put more video about him.
Also, his technique is so different... and he was efficient too, because it was appropriate for him!! I read an article, which showed that he was more efficient with his own technique !!
Thanks a lot... I just try to tell a little story with pole vault videos. I do my best in each video, because I'm loving this sport. Just the video "How to go high" doesn't have a real story... but it was my first ;)
Once again:"Thanks to spend your time in watching my vids"
That Hoffman character, i gotta give the props to the man. At first I thought he ran funny (well he still does) but not only that but that he messed up on his way up (in his performance at the beach) but now ive come to realize that was part of his act! Amazing and very cool! :)

all your videos are very nicely done! Keep it up. They are very inspirational in general, and I don't even polevault.
