Spartacus: Blood and Sand - Glaber Demands a Demonstration

Ep5 of Vengeance could've been amazing and it was mediocre at best. That Gannicus/Doctore fight should've been Epic. Every espisode they should go for 1 very, very intense scene that's done very well - Like this. So far they're dropping the ball. I'm still interested because I'm hoping their going somewhere....but so far the changes suck. Everything is bland.

This and Gods were amazing. So far this season is slow...it's lacking the closed quarter fighting that separated everyone, among many other issues. Look at this episode, it's beyond intense. There hasn't been one scene like this yet. IMO Gannicus is their only hope. The gladiators are supposed to be fucking badass. IRL, Spartacus was so good that he had 70,000 people following him, haha. 70 THOUSAND. I also hate how he doesn't use 2 swords now. They made all the gladiators the same.

One must remember that, in Rome, most of the able bodied male slaves of fighting age were warriors who had been captured in battle-not just soft men who worked fields and scrubbed floors. Gladiators were used in battle throughout Roman history but they seldom made good soldiers....
