  • I lolled when they were manually lifting it up XD

  • How much did that "Q" motor set you back?? The largest I was able to find at the hobby store is an "E".

  • Nice launch nevertheless.

  • Why would you rebuild a pershing missile? Aren´t there enough non-mass-destruction models to choose from? Well, maybe not on your agenda in A-la-ba-ma.

  • "The anal probe begins." Hahaha!

  • Why do they want to blow a city up? All u have to do is put a warhead in it and it would turn into a WTF boom montage xD.

  • now take your litter with you

  • 2:46 The definition of optimism.

  • That reminds me of Jimbo from South Park.

  • Predator missilie launched :D

  • what was the propellent?

  • the problem is not how the rocket is launching but how the rocket is landing

  • d3deville, are you responsible for work on the rocket or just uploading the video?

  • we should of known how strong rocket candy was

  • no camera on the rocket than how will u know where the rocket is

  • POLAND WELCOME

  • beats the ones Iran are making haha

  • did u put a camera in it

  • yeeeeehaaaa rednecks and rockets and rocketfuel

  • why not put a parachute in it and reuse it?

  • nice rocket by the way

  • europe and america are allies.

i don´t think they tried to hit a spy plane

alltrough it was a great trophee (:

  • how high did it go ???!!!

  • hey...your chute didn't open

  • Comment removed

  • is this legal

  • that was perfect, it was straight and powerful

  • next time, make a missile filled with itching powder XD

  • Dangit Billy Ray...I told you to lay off the PBR and pack the parachutes!!!!!!

  • Expensive hobby.

  • I bet the boys over at NORAD are scratching their heads. "What the fuck?!?"

  • You know what? It might not be too bad. 2:46 ...Yeah right!

  • you should have aimed it at an angle

  • Pause at 0:53 and you will see picture whitch explains that these peapole write history of warfear making rockets in house backyard :D

  • @d3deville how much do these cost and how high do they go?

  • Thats MINT!!

  • This is why Iran and them cant FK with the USA. Even civilians make these things. I know these guys are prob army, but civilians make them too!

  • omg that could kill u all!

  • It was awesome. How high can this missile reach? I wonder how can I build one of this. Thank you so much for this video.

  • dam what a fricken huge rocket

  • FANTASTIC!! wish it came back in one paice.. damn..

  • i was a p2 missle crewman 15e10 mos.us army and i can say good try but you need better desighns

  • Now Im not trying to say this is a bad idea, but look at all that wood! Ive studied rockets and a successful rocket must have a fuel weight ratio to about 8-10, so 80% of the rocket is fuel. Im interested in the casing thou, what did you guys use?

  • very dumb

  • I BELIEVE THAT CONSERVED ALOT OF ENERGY... :D

  • What happens if you accidently hit an European spy plane?

    :D

  • @kitchenfromhell

accidently... this sounds so funny :D

  • @kitchenfromhell A European spy plane? To spy on what? How hillbillys ´recover´ their toy-rocket stuff? LOL. Get yourself some education an at least google the word ´europe´. ;)

  • @blablupp77 I'm from Europe lol. you to ? never heard about sarcasm :D

  • one mistake, u forgot the warhead

  • youve come a long way man-this is a passion beyond describing :)

  • Wow, he said it was flying above the sun! Even NASA can't do this type of engineering.

Wood is the future of rocket science.

  • if it fell on top of a house would be cool!

  • Holy crap! Is this legal?

  • @waynerd23 They're in the middle of nowhere. Why wouldn't it be legal?

  • @TheMrbubl3s because you have assembled there a frigging LARGE missile mate in england if you tried this the authorities would have a fit you'd have old ladies in tea houses screaming to the old bill that they are under attack from aliens lol

  • @MrDiredemon bloody awesome bit of kit tho :) well done the build team :)

  • @MrDiredemon Lol, well it's a good thing they're doing this in the US! lol

  • ...never heard of a parachute? lol

  • men:this missile is going to the russions

    russions:omfg run bitches run!!!!!

  • A little hot glue and she'll be as good as new.

  • I bet that dispersed a lot of energy? I assume that none of you were physics majors in college because what did you expect would happen when you built a rocket with 2x4s? Did you ever consider aluminum, GRP and CFRC?

  • @epistte Since when do you need a physics degree to use aluminum framing? Wood is easier to work with and way cheaper. Chances are they are not using grants to fund this project.

  • OK am not familiar with the laws when it comes to rockets. Does the government monitor these launches? Do you need a permit, does the Air Traffic Control notify the nearest Air Force about the rocket? Just wondering that's all.

  • @rockerojuan Actually yes, from a certain size on every modeled Aircraft, whether it´s a R/C Plane, R/C Helicopter or even R/C Rocket, needs to be announced at the nearest Traffic Controll, to keep the Air Space free. I don´t know about monitoring behaviour of the Governements...they might be watching.

  • whilst looking a shattered rocket.

"you know, it may not be too bad"

    lol

  • SO WHAT'S NEXT DUDES A FUCKING NUCLEAR WAR HEAD?

  • THat looks like Shahab 2 Iranina missile dammt lol GREAT JOB guys

  • Good it was unmanned...

  • Gotta love that video. Must be some ex Pershing soldiers behind that. Brings back some memories!

  • COMING HOT!! where where?! There u go KBOM....!! haha

  • failed parachute deployment very dangerous, not exactly rocket scientists.

  • wow flying pershing.

  • not bad

  • hahahaha it seems like Indian missile technology.

  • LOL i came here because i thought i was gonna see Iran test a Missile ....

  • 2:45 "you know what? Might not be too bad!" ;-))) Did you say you had a GPS unit in it? I have been wondering about that, is there some way to fit an electronic beacon in bigger rockets to help locate them if they come down far from the launch site?

  • 0:30 Albert Einstein says:

    that bastards heavy!

  • Did u recover the footage off the on board cam haha

  • i would love to sit inside that thing can u imagine the thrust on your face no homo

  • That thing is crazy.

  • Parachute failed!

  • why dident they show the camra on the rocket

  • So what is a Q-motor?

  • @logicbranch Rocket motors are classified based on impulse measured in newton-seconds. An Estes C6-5 motor from your local hobby shop has between 5.01 and 10 newton-seconds of thrust (the C), averages six newtons thrust, and the ejection charge has a five second delay. A D motor would have 10.01-20 N-sec of thrust, and a Q motor delivers between 81,920.01 and 163,840.00 N-sec of thrust, or 18,416.35 to 36832.6 pound-seconds of thrust.

  • @whatevermightwork Thank you for the helpful explanation (and thanks also for using mostly metric).

  • wow think of the millitary saw that

  • V2..V1.. nah.. heck it's not even a rocket anymore!

  • That Bastard's Heavy!

  • @TheCreeperMedia

    like your mom

  • you can put shutes on these things, and then re-use them. the chute is worth the extra cost, to re-use the rocket

  • @Yankeeprepperasshat They mention the parachute a couple of times. Later he also says, "The main didn't even come out, just the pilot." He means the main chute and the pilot chute.

  • is a v2 ?????

  • @valmo2279 no i forgot the name of the rocket but it is not a v2

  • Anyone seen that TopGear episode where they make the biggest rocket in Europe to launch a three-wheeler car? :) great rocket and show.

  • HAHAHAH you can hear it fall xD

  • rofl

  • just like the V1 of ww2!

  • @hunterTS4 Go back to School Stupid ! the V1 had 2 sets wings and a tail with the rocket booster on its back and the V2 looks nothing remotely similar to this rocket

  • Need parachute

  • do u need a liscense for this?!

  • @iLLchris90 you need NAR level 3 certification to build this thing

  • A bit of duct tape and your good to go ;-D

  • Bored Americans :D GO USA

  • Sad this thing didn't fall on the truck.

  • How did this little missle get build???? What was used and what are the measurements??? pls let me know what was used to make this beautiful thing happen.....

  • Did it go supersonic?

  • AHHHH nothing like a home made ballistic missile

  • You know, this reminds me of the Trojan Rabbit (also in wood) from Monty's Holy Grail.

  • You killed my pet bird

  • lol redneck family reunion

  • The South shall rise again

  • Wadsworth Constant applies

  • As much I hate to say it, THAT WAS AWESOME.

  • fck yeah!

  • you'd think it would be illegal to put us army on it.

  • A homemade Nike Missile? that's what it looked like to me, It even followed a basic trajectory for one too.

  • @TheRealBloodRedPhoen Actually, homemade Pershing II. Nikes were proportionally thinner/longer and had 8 fins.

And did I hear it whistling right before it impacted?

  • Ooops!

  • all i can say is....hehehehhehehehehhehehehhehehehehhehehehehhehe

  • that s what you call a lawn dart

  • You know what they say, one mans hobby is North Korea's best

  • HOLY VON BRAUN THAT SHIT WENT FAR!!

  • Skip to 2:41 and it sounds like they fired another rocket and it hit the dude in the head. :P

  • You guys must give the military a hard time haha. They probably got all types or alarms going off.

  • And THAT ladies and gentlemen is INDEED a friggin rocket

  • How fast?

  • Gravity is a hell of a problem.

  • why did they paint us army on it, tryin to start a war with russia or somthing?

  • @SuperKenny720 Because the Pershing was a missile operated by the U.S. Army. Google it.

  • The anal probe begins

  • THATS FREAKIN AWESOME ...!

  • What type of engine did you used?

  • That isn't a model. That's freaking real.

  • Impressive to say the least .. great shot :)

Any idea why the recovery failed?.

  • MUITO LOCO ESSE MISSEL ,DA HORA !!!!

  • Could've added a impact-sensitive powder warhead. Better a boom than a POP lol.

  • How far did that go?

  • "0:00 Warning, SCUD-STorm detected"

1:14 "Warning, SCUD STORM has been launched

    2:25 Unit lost.

  • @xDidi87x ok! ok! i will work...

  • What propellent did u use

  • A SCUD launcher=)

  • At 0:26 he says "The anal probe begins"

  • @KhanSlayer is that from qommand and qonquer generals?

  • Comment removed

  • @ 0:10 i got goosebumps...

  • Awesome!

  • Hooooooly shit

  • How much would this cost to make???

  • its good to know that if the US government ceases to exist, then the american people will still have a decent means of blowing people the F*** up.

  • @dbeiswenger yes sir! we are good at making shit go boom!

  • I'm going to stop watching YouTube if they don't stop shoving ads where I'm looking.

  • Hahaha, I wonder what the army guys think when they see this on radar!

  • no wai AIPTEK will keep record on card

  • Ouch, my head!

  • They had a camera on it, but the parachute failed and GODAMMIT GET AWAY FROM ME YOU CRAZY REDNECKS

  • do anybody know that was a military operation or civil?

  • @sunNbass Are you serious?

  • @sunNbass This was a hobby rocket. Built by amateur rocket builders. No, these aren't crazy rednecks. And a camera was on board because live payloads aren't allowed by federal law. And for good reason. The parachute doesn't always fail. There are so many variables in a flight like this. Sometimes things go wrong. That's the nature of amateur rocketry. NOTHING is certain.

  • 0:54 Iwojima

  • nice

how did u get the rocket

  • @JumboJetBoy1 I think they did at 3:06 they ask about a video camera.

  • you had to put some ammonium nitrate and a timer as the detonator in this rocket

  • Russians...TRYIN TO FUCKING BLOW UP THE EARTH WITH THAT SHIT?!XD

  • Total bummer about the recovery failure. :( That rocket must have cost thousands to make. Great looking flight though!

  • No chute?

  • Holeyyyyyyyyyyyyy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!

  • holy shit...did u have to get clearance for that? Where did you find how to build it also? Please answer

  • oooo boy

  • ...at first I thought the Russians were shooting back :) -

  • wow , awesome . Would be great if you could make one that reaches outer space . Maybe even launch your own satellite lol .

  • that was awsome.

  • this rocket is missing one vital part... the payload

its just an empty shell, lets see some explosive payload

  • @JumboJetBoy1 they could put a small video camera on it and a video transmiter so that even if the camera is destroyed, the images are safe back on your laptop

  • This, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why you invest in an emergency parachute deployment system. XD

  • @EndlessFilmLimited it's not always that easy. The rocket was probably full as it was

  • @EndlessFilmLimited Amen brutha!! A Q motor rocket coming down ballistic. If that was my rocket I would be embarassed for anyone to see the video of the flight

    .

  • SUGAR! :(

  • ...Meanwhile their wives are shagging the milkmen...

  • Thats a beautiful rocket

  • TATICAL NUKE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yall need 2 noe some kids cud b watching this

  • oh my gosh I found awesome in a rocket....
