OK am not familiar with the laws when it comes to rockets. Does the government monitor these launches? Do you need a permit, does the Air Traffic Control notify the nearest Air Force about the rocket? Just wondering that's all.

@rockerojuan Actually yes, from a certain size on every modeled Aircraft, whether it´s a R/C Plane, R/C Helicopter or even R/C Rocket, needs to be announced at the nearest Traffic Controll, to keep the Air Space free. And for good reason. The parachute doesn't always fail. There are so many variables in a flight like this. Sometimes things go wrong. That's the nature of amateur rocketry. NOTHING is certain.
