  • Learn something about politics and about how government works. Yes, It is a problem for both Kentucky and Indiana. However, this video is created to target Mitch McConnell. Nothing is really said about IN. Every state that has a border bridge has a, 1, uno state to care of the property. It may not be the best way, but this is how it is done. So lay off of Mitch, when it's not his bridge. The Dems have kept stopping the building of a new bridge due to some tree hugging issues a few times now.

  • Vote this idiot out of office!!

  • Don't fix it... McDonnell can swim across it

  • If the sides of the K&I are up to lite car traffic open up the k&i heck , its worth a quarter or two to get across this could help some. but more over it would help out the hampered boat casino traffic. i live here too . depauw ave.

  • Mitch, rode a wave of hatred back in 1975, into office on the "forced Busing" issue. Look at where Jefferson County is now. Still busing kids across the county every school day. In 1975, there was talk in Jefferson county about doing something about the bridges, look at where we are now. The Shermin Minton bridge is shut down indefinitely, with no new bridge even started. Who are these idiots voting for him?!? He does nothing, and yet gets re-elected, and KY is in the tank, as usual.

  • @Frostweld btw, anybody that thinks this is a Indiana problem, doesn't know shit about where the KY/IN border is.

  • @Frostweld If im not mistaken the WATERWAY kentucky claims as its tax and upkeep. the bridge and air space is different.

  • @silverbird58 True, but that's not my point now, is it?

  • OMG I HATE THIS DIKE, SHE LOOKS LIKE A 12 YR BOY

  • @hotrod4you2 -- Is that all you got, punk!?

  • @hotrod4you2 Maybe jealousy has gotten a hold of you. She's on TV and you are not.

  • By the way YES! I live in Louisville.

  • Get informed. This is so funny how MSNBC does not know that Indiana has responsibility of that bridge. Which means this isn't Mitch McConnell's district. What part of this does she doesn't understand as well as everyone else. You can fix something that's not yours. Get informed, yes Asher, Get informed and read the newspapers and look up your information before posting. MSNBC, pull your head out of your rear and learn how to report NEWS, not your liberal side of politics. :-)

  • @bdmarples It's this left/Right divinessness that doesn't help this problem. We need the bridge fixed. And both States have something in it. People are wanting jobs, Well here are the jobs, here is the economic stimulus, so what is the fucking problem?

  • @bdmarples Perhaps, but the if the bridge needs replaced ( a strong possibility) then responsibility falls on both states. Even if replacement isn't needed, the closure still has a massive impact on McConnell's district, and McConnell needs to fight for his constituents. Indiana may be responsible for that bridge, but both states are stuck with this problem

  • I bet if the Koch brothers used that bridge McConell would be doing everything he could to get it fixed. He knows his priorities well.

  • It would help for her to get her facts straight. First of all, the maintenance of the Sherman Mitton Bridge is performed via IN government. Therefore, why attack Sen Mitch McConnell and not say a word about the IN governor. Gov. Mitch Daniels is the one that closed the bridge and it's under their responsibility for the maintenance. I am trying to see your point of view, but my head doesn't go that far up my #$%. Would you pay to repair your neighbors lawnmower? No that is his responsibility!!!!!

  • Yeah, let's just wait for another Minnesota style tragedy to do anything.
