Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak Tutorial with Redsn0w 0.9.10b5

mine stops when it says waiting for reboot  my ipod touch 4th gen boots up normally doesnt i dentify the build i guess any advice on what to do?

on ipod touch 4th runnin stock 5.0.1 FW, i get into DFU mode and redsn0w picks up my device, but after it finishes and says "Done... the rest of the jailbreak takes place on your device" nothing happens, my ipod just has a black screen, reboot my device and cydia is not there.

please help me out, been trying this for hours

@xFALLENxMOEJOEx No, it will just untether your phone and leave everything else unchanged. Be sure to uncheck the "install cydia" box on the options screen or you will corrupt the jailbreak!

was so excited about the untethered 5.0.1 and so i tried to update from my 5 to 5.0.1 and it refuses. and when i tried to restore, it refuses and infact almost got my iphone shutdown. How can i go about this problem. thank you.

@iphoneblogr every time redsn0w gets to the second stage my ipod comes back on and redsn0w is stuck at reboot, after a a few minutes it says err accured with SHSH blobs, i have a brand new ipod touch 4g, i jailbroke it with snowbreeze and my ipod got stuck on the apple sign. i restored it back. could that be the reason why its not working for me?

@bbiiggjj1 Download an iPod Touch 4G 5.0.1 IPSW from getios.com and then under "Extras" in redsn0w choose "select IPSW" and point redsn0w at your 5.0.1 IPSW, then go back and hit jailbreak and see if it works. Make sure you are using 0.9.10b3(link in the description)

@iphoneblogr It kinda of does, i tried it with 5.0.1 tethered(if that matters) and they dont work but it does show up in settings, i was asking to see if you knew if they worked , to know if my phone is messed up or not.
