  • This has to be my fav song out of the entire book :) Hehe good job! Mine sounds kinda depressing and stuff.. not as cheerful as this !:(

  • @holaaasannie haha i agreed on you ! also mine :)

and well ! .. .. sure it isn't that terrible :) and this one isn't that well as well ;) ..... there are some big diffrences then how it should be sound :) would do it way diffrence now :) but the importand thing is, you have learned from it :) and KNOW how to do it next time ;) ! so don't be sad ! :)

  • Dennis, don't be hard to yourself! I think you played it pretty good!

  • Thanks to you, I understand the phrasing a little better from how your version sounds. It is really bright and cheerful. I also don't really like to play the left hand staccato in this, but I guess the Alfred book wants to help train the left hand to play staccato when the right hand plays more legato. Same with Hokey Pokey (same Alfred book). I thought to learn the piece and add staccato after, but I still cannot do it staccato completely in the left hand.

  • @pian0r0se haha very good ! :) hope you do .. but still like I said .. this video is not very good he ! ;) ... and indeed .. I don't play staccato in here ... :) I like this kind of version more that the staccato ;) but believe me .. if you control it. it wil not be that hard anymore :) !

good luck and happy you do understand it now ! :D

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you Denis! I am now beginning to learn this piece, and it is v e r y s l o w ! It sounds so merry the way you play it, and that inspires me to keep practicing..... In fact, most of the videos that I have seen (when looking how to play pieces from Alfred's Book 2) are done very expressively... and that helps. Sometimes I think at first I don't like a song, but when starting to learn, and then hearing how it could be from you -- well, it really does help.

  • @pian0r0se How nice of you ! thank you so much and I appreaciate it to hear it ! cause I had to diffence purpose with my videos .. to see my progress and help other in there studies in alfred piano course ! so you also THANK YOU !! but please notes one thing here (I add it cause I liked it) the left hand is suppose to be played staccato !! :) and the importand thing in this little piece is to plat very phrasing (I hope I spell it on the right way?) and of course look at the dynamics!

    Mvg

Ps handen werk hier ook weer goed ?
