  • How did you make your shadow puppets into stop motion? I want to do this so bad!

  • The horses walk cycle animation was a little strange. Though I guess that may be all part of the style of the animation?

  • when are you gonna make more edward?

  • is the title in reference to the self-dissolution which ensues to those who live their desire? either way, beautiful.

  • I love Lotte Reiniger, this is a lovely piece of work, reminds me of hers.

  • The song used in this video is 'Tongue-tied' by the wonderful Mia Doi Todd, from the album Manzanita.

  • freakin sweet! i like it.

  • Haven't seen Stardust yet...I'm sure this is better.

  • really good job, music and video are one. please, can somebody tell me the name of the song?

  • ok, i´ve seen the name of the song at the end hehe... maybe i was shocked by the video...

  • Cool. Good to see someone experimenting with traditional techniques rather than just using flash. The lighting changes constantly. It that because different frames were shot at different times of the day? It does add to it though. I looks like lightning.

  • what happened at the end?

  • lol, that was funky!!! in a good way, mind you...the way it was made was amazing, but i was a little dissapointed that is was so short :(

    but great vid, nonetheless :D

  • That's so cool! How long did this take you?

  • liked that

  • This is deadly, love the music that goes along with it..

  • quite good stuff ^-^

  • Beautiful!

  • Like he wants to fu*k the horse or what?

  • hehehe... I enjoyed it. Wonderfully put together, though my twisted mind conjured up that thought as well... it was quickly discarded however.

  • Wow, amazing

  • Great vid!

  • little star, i wonder where you are....

  • great

  • very amazing, good work

  • Beautiful. That was amazing

  • I appreciate the simplistic nature of your efforts because it captures the beauty of simplicity. I wish upon a star. Good music choice.

  • neato

  • Beautiful song

  • Diggin'it!

  • That is wicked! You would never think that it was just paper and a table!

  • el caballo tiene las patas muy flaacas jojojo

  • Cool style!

  • cwl.. but maby u shood edit it so its not so jumpy?

  • well, good idea, stupid lightning, >:8

  • I have nothing bad to say about this animation. Beautiful, imaginative. I LOVE IT

  • Nice work there! By the way I really enjoy a lot of Mia Doi Todd's work, great choice!

  • amazing, i love it

  • Just beautiful!!!

  • Brilliant.

  • click on my name and read about me it is well funny lol good vid mate

  • Wow, that was so amazing and beautiful! The music goes great with the vid!

  • Beautiful. Can somebody tell me a computer software for doing something similar?

  • dont we all

  • Hiya! I'm checking out your work, too ;) I really like your sense of design and transparancy of the scenery. The story is nice, too. The animation can become more steady and fluent by practice and taping down the feet and scenery to glass plates and such ;) good luck!

  • beautiful. i'd like to know how you managed to do this!

  • goodness, this is beautiful! The music is perfect for it, I love it!

  • Very cool. Very much like her work. Very refreshing to see that not eveything is done on the computer. Simply awesome.

  • agreed. im in love

  • i love it, can u tell me how long it took u? im doin a similar thing fro my hsc and it would be great to find out how much extra time i need!

  • Beautiful! Great heart went into making this film. I especially loved how you made the waves.

  • That was cool! Great music choice and I liked the whole theme of it. Lovely.

  • i made a video with my friends for the coral called 'something inside of me' which was inspired by lotte reiniger, shes great, and your great too, even down to the text at the start and the end!

  • Those are quite good silhouettes. I have seen "Prince Achmed" also and your film does hint at the spirit of it.

  • Hey, not bad at all! You inspire me. I'm a fan of Reiniger's work (though I've only seen "Prince Achmed"), and while I didn't expect this to be at her level (and it isn't), it is in the spirit of her films. So good job, and make more! Maybe choose a higher frame rate next time, and give the guy elbow joints.

  • That's wicked badass.
