@ekalaka1 id like to take a trip out there next spring to hunt a little are there still a bunch of wild turkeys up around that way??? from baker to ekalaka or terry??? please let me know if its worth the trip out there or if u even see any wild turkeys around ekalaka???

I live in North Dakota, but I really like Ekalaka. After I retire here, it's one of the towns I've thought might be a great place to go to and work a few more years (without harming my North Dakota retirement).

I have relatives is Ekalaka and I love the sound of the name. My Dad grew up in near-by Baker.

I prefer the open prairie, but I love visiting the forest. I find cities scary: unpredictable people, too much traffic, and too many people.

It's a beautiful town. I enjoy getting down there and really wish it was closer.

Makes me feel like I am there. Love the prairie grasses blowing in the wind and the hills outlined against the sky.
