I have two comments:

First of all I manage a restaurant in Kansas. Just about three weeks ago I had 7 men and 1 woman in my store from open to close: about a 700 dollar sale. These were UN troops here to work. Their words not mine. They all spoke at least three languages saying their homeland is S. Africa speaking German as a primary language. As I spoke with them periodically, I learned they were vacationing for two weeks and wanted to see the mid-west; including Kansas, Missouri and Colorado.

They stated they were here, in the US, to serve as needed in the case of any problems. Stating they were serving their 5 year terms and each had specialized fields from medical to demolitions. Some very interesting conversations were had that day. All of them had very athletic builds and ranged in age from 22 to 25 years old. Also, very hospitable and congenial. Three of them had motorcycles with them and each stated they owned bikes and had them here in the states. Very interesting indeed.

my second comment is regarding a college located just 20 minutes away from my store, Kansas University. We employ several people that attend KU and each has told me their campus is on partial lock-down. In addition, they say there is a lot of vaccine pressure and propaganda going around their campus. Even our company has sent down about twenty pages concerning our management protocol concerning the H1N1 flu.

Partial lock-down was a term one of my student employees, used to describe the protocol students were being given if infected with H1N1. Similar to the same generic protocol being circulated around the business community regarding H1N1. Such as, you can't go to classes, shouldn't leave their domiciles for any reason if infected and harboring a fever over a hundred and one degrees, etc....
