Back to reality.. He is amazing. This song is so beautiful, no words can describe it. Now a day people think a great song must consist of getting some, getting drunk, or just having money. He illustrates how beautiful music can be, but also it's terrifying to see that some of these problems are going on in the world.

Fantastic lyrics - I love it. The pauses he has in the song needs to go though: it sounds like a comedy parody when you use those pauses for emphasis. It's cliche and it taints this great song. Otherwise, love it.

@Popsauce123 There's nothing we can do about it, really. Humanity has been in a sinking ship for a long time now, and we're too deep into the water to be pulled back up to safety now.
The best thing we can do is to take the Hell and make something beautiful out of it. Like this song. Everyone is the bad guy. We're all to blame. Let the tragedy we've created feed art we're going to create.
I think Kevin Devine and other artists are doing the best thing you could possibly do.

Fantastic lyrics - I love it. The pauses he has in the song needs to go though: it sounds like a comedy parody when you use those pauses for emphasis. It's cliche and it taints this great song. Otherwise, love it.

i dont think the "music" is so amazing lol. Its pretty simple to be honest. No where near complex. Its the lyrics, purpose, and meaning that is so "amazing," as you put it.
