What popped out to me first is, that Catherine's dogs are severely overweight. Before I jump at someone I make sure that I do the right thing - here, to have slim dogs with strong muscles from lots of physical exercise.
UK Goldens come in two types. Working Goldens are more wiry and streamlined. Show Goldens are heavier and bigger boned, like mine. They have big thick coats, and they are also elderly - it's quite a feat for a 14 year old Golden to even climb the hills onto these moors. Most Golden Retrievers, if alive at this age, are usually immobile. Two of mine lived to 17. Their annual vet bills are around £10 ($20). As for me personally, I'll be perfect by next Tuesday at the latest. Catherine
Kind of disturbing that someone representing "Canine Health Concern" has what appear to be three *extremely* overweight dogs. It's a shame, because it really detracts from the intended message of the video. :(
I think you're onto something there. At first look I thought that the dogs were Great Pyrnees and disregarded your comment. GPs are pretty big dogs as you know. But I think these are actually Golden Retrievers? In the UK, they would be a bit larger than the ones here in the US.
But still, you are right... those dogs look overweight. Ms. O'Driscoll looks a bit on the heavy side herself, and often heavy people have heavy dogs.
It's equally ridiculous that someone trained in science would actually believe homeopathy is anything more than wishful thinking. If homeopathy really works, then the laws of physical chemistry as we understand them are wrong.
