Windows isn't made to run on a mac, so do not belive this at all, I have a computer AMD Athlon XP 2800 @ 2.19Ghz 1GB ram

starts in 10 seconds, and i have a pentium 4 1.8Ghz 512MB ram that starts in 15 seconds, and one of my laptop Intel Celeron M 380 1.6Ghz 1.5GB ram starts in 15 on Windows 7, and my slowest is another laptop Pentium 4 2.2 224MB Ram starts in 20 Seconds.

With the normal amount of programs, no way it can outrun the Mac UNLESS it's the uber high end machines. And um, Windows is made to run on Intel, which Macs have used since 2006, so Windows kinda IS made to run on a Mac since BootCamp came out.

Doesnt take that much for macs to switch to intel. No windows is not made to run on emulated mac drivers, mac hardware, microsoft didnt issue any drivers for macintosh. Even my computer that has 31 programs on it runs and boots smoothly...

Newer Macs use garden variety Intel CPU's and emulate the normal BIOS in it's firmware which means that all you need is a partitioner, a bootloader and the drivers. The windoze copy is the one you would use on a regular "PC", the only stuff that changes is that bootcamp does the partitioning and serves as bootloader which chainloads ntldr the same way grub would do if you had a windoze/linux dualboot.

not a very nice comparison because windows and mac OS 10 are completely different operating systems that have a very different number of things it needs to do on start up. Mac OSX has a lot less things to load to run the operating system and start up animations are also completely different.

You can't use bootcamp on a powerbook, he has it on his MBP. The powerbook uses a Power PC processor. It has a different architecture and cannot run windows. Funny that the old powerbook boots faster into OSX than the MBP boots XP.
