As a performer there is a tradeoff between dancing all out and singing. Dancing takes all your breath so that you can't sing effectively, even if your cardio is very strong. Britney choses to provide the spectacle of the dance show as opposed to live singing. The crowd is there for the show, not to hear live singing.
@pacsunchiro I don't know if you have ever seen Beyoncé' performing the song "Get Me Bodied" in the Beyoncé's experience, but if you watch it, then you'd know that dancing and singin along is possible... but I recognize that not everyone can do it :)

see my response to her - FYI, Beyonce is lip syncing too, it costs more and takes time to do and you need a good memory, its a pre-recorded live vocal, so Beyonce goes and records a live track (so it is her voice unedited in studio, and they leave flaws and breaths in it but it sounds good because she is not dancing of course!) then they play that live sounding track on stage and all she has to do is remember how she sang it and its almost undetectable that she is lipping!

yeah, she is doing playback and you know what? it's the only thing she can do, because the vocal abilities she perform on the recording studio can only be performed while sittind down or not moving around. Britney's vocals are so low that it takesa lot of technique getting the notes right and all small movements interfere with the sound. She is a perfformer, she has talent she can sking, but live, she gives a show, and singing live while doing the vocals would totally destroy her carrer.
i think brit is scared to give 100% energy because she injured her knee once then again in 2004 by fracturing it (that's why the outrageous video was never finished because she had to wear a cast on her knee for months it was never completed) and that kinda disabled her dancing a little. I think brit can still dance like the slave and oynx days i think she's just scared of injuring her knee for a third time.

As a performer there is a tradeoff between dancing all out and singing. Dancing takes all your breath so that you can't sing effectively, even if your cardio is very strong. Britney choses to provide the spectacle of the dance show as opposed to live singing. The crowd is there for the show, not to hear live singing.

@pacsunchiro I don't know if you have ever seen Beyoncé' performing the song "Get Me Bodied" in the Beyoncé's experience, but if you watch it, then you'd know that dancing and singin along is possible... but I recognize that not everyone can do it :)

@briicanya Beyonce has never and will never dance the way Britney did in this concert. I saw get me bodied many times and she sings and dances at the same time yes. Does she dance like Britney, Hell no. britney does high kicks and splits in this concert and advanced routines that Beyonce could never do. I like Beyonce very much too and I know she outsings Britney, that's why I like Beyonce, not because of her dancing.

see my response to her - FYI, Beyonce is lip syncing too, it costs more and takes time to do and you need a good memory, its a pre-recorded live vocal, so Beyonce goes and records a live track (so it is her voice unedited in studio, and they leave flaws and breaths in it but it sounds good because she is not dancing of course!) then they play that live sounding track on stage and all she has to do is remember how she sang it and its almost undetectable that she is lipping!

I only told that douche that I do so it seams that I know something about her which I don't. most singers who do some type of movement on stage have a backing track including Copyonce. if you google "Beyonce gets caught lipsyncing" there's a hilarious video of her singing along to a backing track and missing where she is supposed to be singing along. she's not lipsyncing like the video says because she is "singing" but it is hilarious to watch!!

WRONG. Get Me Bodied is LIP SYNC too! Beyonce is just willing to pay more money to fool fans Britney can't remember her "live sounding pre-recorded vocal" (watch her pre-recorded NFL kick off medley and Me Against the Music AMA's) so they do not bother & just use playback. Beyonce is a MASTER at remembering her pre-recorded vocals, listen to Get Me Bodied they are the same - even fans NOW admit it, she has NEVER performed it live, they turn her mic on to yell the dances @ the end

Are you saying that during those performances for Britney that there was a pre recorded track but she wasn't singing along to it very well so now they just use the original track? I have to look at it again because it's been awhile. And for get me bodied you're saying she's not even singing along with a backing track but completely lipsyncing!! I have to look at that too!!! She's good at memorizing the tracks because she always uses them!!!

Ypu got it! Exactly, Beyonce is not singing at all during Get Me Bodied it is recorded live beforehand and she lip synchs on stage, her mic is completely off until the end then they turn on her mic for yelling the dances, same with the Britney ones i mentioned, For Beyonce listen to the end of the 1st verse "couple hundreds 'em WHAT?" its different from the album but ALWAYS the same

PS for "The Beyonce Experience" they are all the same EXACTLY word for word sound for sound breath for breath and she updated her prerecord for I Am Sasha Fierce she does a live bit but as soon as it gets fast its a new pre-record, so all the Beyonce Experience ones are the same and the Sasha Fierce ones (the fast part) is all the same, she tried to fool people (because fans caught on when BET was the same as tour) so she added accapella to the beginning #LOL

Britney is talented in the fact that she can dance her butt off, put on a great show, appeal to the public AND continue to keep appealing even after more than a decade. yeah, she is doing playback and you know what? it's the only thing she can do, because the vocal abilities she perform on the recording studio can only be performed while sittind down or not moving around. Britney's vocals are so low that it takesa lot of technique getting the notes right and all small movements interfere with the sound. She is a perfformer, she has talent she can sking, but live, she gives a show, and singing live while doing the vocals would totally destroy her carrer.

i think brit is scared to give 100% energy because she injured her knee once then again in 2004 by fracturing it (that's why the outrageous video was never finished because she had to wear a cast on her knee for months it was never completed) and that kinda disabled her dancing a little. I think brit can still dance like the slave and oynx days i think she's just scared of injuring her knee for a third time.
