Only if you have a wireless network set up that isn't locked within about 100 feet from your house. If you don't have a wireless network, you need an I/O card to have an Ethernet cable plug from the card directly to your modem. You must have a modem to access internet.
I know, but it says you NEED to have speakers, keyboard and mouse but those are not needed to build a computer either. They're just as important as the monitor.
@sbvikings30 What are you talking about? Maybe if you buy a re-certified item, or open box item. I always buy new/unopened things from newegg. Do you want me to send you pictures of boxes?
make sure you ram isnt damaged 2 beeps means there is a hardware problem..it could be your video card, but something isn't working by the sounds of things it's your video card ,always remember to destatic when touching anything inside the case static electricity will destroy your computer..
Around $1200 bucks. When i first bought everything it was much more than that but obviously over time prices drop. I mean the Q6600 when it was first released was $830 bucks then it dropped to $549 now its at $219. Same with the 780i Tri SLI motherboard. It was like $300 bucks when it was first released now its only $150.
how much money does it cost to buy most of those parts though. im thinking about building computers and selling them on ebay if i could make a profit?
Depends. It can range anywhere from $200 for a really cheap Celeron or Sempron based computer with integrated graphics to a couple thousand for a fast overclocked quad core machine with 3 Geforce 280s in SLI and water cooling.
no you just close your eyes and remember where your mouse cursor is (every times it starts up the cursor is in the middle). Save a bundle on a monitor.
is a Gigabyte GA-6IEML PIII Motherboard with Celeron 1.3Ghz a good motherboard because i found one on ebay and its like less than an australian dollar and i was just supprised at that cheap price
If you have mucho money I would recommend the Asus Striker II Extreme with an Intel Quad-Core QX9770 Extreme, and with either two GeForce 9800 GX2 or three GeForce 8800 Ultra's (even though Ultra's are impossible to find), an appropriate power supply, and some water cooling.
dual-core is really all u need now a days. an upgrade wont be necessary for another couple of years. stick to an nVidea chipset and onboard pci or pcie. fuck agp no one needs it anymore
It varies from diffrent brands and power of the peice. But most things excluding the motheboard, graphics card and RAM will be below $100 for a basic price. RAM can also be below $100 but that is pretty low quality RAM. Also im talking in australian figures.
Damn, can't you have one long vid rather than a bajillion 20 sec vids.

@policemofo I'd reccomend the 7900gt unless you really want dx10 (for crysis or somehting). 7900gt will get you more frames.
it depends, if you want dx10 or just want to play games, i would go for the 7900 gt. because dx10 is very demanding in performance.. my 8800 gts struggles to play the new lost planet game at medium/high settings.

Some motherboards have video memory built into it already,And you don't need to buy a power suply if the case already has one.
