I don't doubt the bus was damaged, however you can see the bus is already an old hunky piece of crap so I don't think you'd be able to spot damage on it since it's in already poor shape. I don't doubt it did get damage
its the same concept but different techniques the first matrix was done with multiple cameras and stopped on the same picture and rotated this bullet time and all the other matrix bulletimes after the first were exclusively made with cgi.
