Master Chief (John) Recruited into the Spartan 2 Project at the age of 6. Trained on reach he met 72 other spartans. Some names: Sam, kelly, Linda, Fred, and James. He earns his first rank as Squad Leader when they are stranded in reaches forests. Chief Mendez specifically says that only 1 person is left behind. But john makes sure everyone gets into a pelican dropship and gets back in one piece. In order to do that he attacks rebels and infiltrates a rebel pelican.
