  • lol its all cool it was like 2 years ago

  • you play beautifully but the last message you sent me was very rood. i was a beginner at the guitar you didn't have to call me a dumb fuck.

  • Don't know what you are referring to. I didn't respond to any of your comments (bar this one) or call you that.

  • dude your awsome and its all cool the messige was from like 2 years ago

  • @NarutoFanxd1 you spelled rude wrong, that might have been why he called you a dumb fuck. haha. just kidding.........

  • i like this transcription...

    Some suggestions:

    1) Keep the time, sometime you loose it

    2) work on some passages: sometimes the notes aren't played enough to hear them.

    (4 stars)

  • is canon d or rock harder

  • rock

  • G'day from Melbourne mate - I think you're great!

  • wow .. its amazing .. i can watch u the whole day 5*

  • People that don't think your good are dumb people because you play absolutely great. I trying to play it too

  • I know this guy xD He makes video games :L

  • interesting interpretation

  • lol you're an idiot. you never thought guitar pro could IMPORT the file

    (yeah.. File->import->tabedit)

he probably was a man and typed them in TabEdit.

  • well there's that, BUT then there's the whole using the pick AND the middle, ring, and pinky also!

  • nice work but for god's sake slow it down! it's supposed to be a romantic song, not a face melter, lol.

  • you make this look so easy

  • a little slower at the chorus would have been perfect! Good Job man!

  • it hardly sucks

  • Like you can do better you faggot

  • I like it, well played.

  • 0:48 AMAZING!!!!

  • Do you can teach me play beautiful like you )?

  • to bad that the quality of the sound isn't that great because I'm totally in love with this guitar canon in D!!!!!!!!!

  • The guy looks so bored... like he's practiced it THAT MUCH that he's over it! hehe

    Love it.

  • I actually got choked up listening to this. I love classical music very much and this is one of my favorites. I LOVE CANON IN D MAJOR. Thank you for sharing.

  • Thanks for the tabs!

  • nice

  • beautiful

my next guitar is definitly a classical i started with an accoustic got 2 electric but i just enjoy so much playing on a classical

  • Q: is a classical guitar the same as an acoustic?

  • well yes and no , you can say a classical guitar is an accoustic instrument but there is a difference between an accoustic guitar and a classical one(or some call it the spanish guitar) after all its just a name but the classical guitar has 3 nylon string first second and third one and 3 steel string fourth fifth and sixth. beside that the neck is larger and without being scientific or pointy on the detail it got less stress on the string(string are less tight) i would say more but i reachlimit

  • Also, the action is typically higher on a classical guitar.

  • no man acoustic usually has steel strings and classical has nylon or watever

  • humm i thought they are bronze and made with copper?

  • whoooa...how DOES one learn to play like this??? please answer if you know.

  • practice my friend ( althought im not the author of this vids! ) i like classical music and i get better and better just by hanging in there and working that out!

i got an old vids on youtube its about 2-3 yrs old i just learn greensleeve at that time. and just by looking back at that vids well i can tell i've improved a lots!!

    So be patient and practice!

  • John! Where are you? And, why on earth do you only have two videos uploaded - and from so long ago?! There is no doubt that your casual, intuitive, - and yes - tempo-changing rendition of Canon is the best. I only wish that you'd bless us with a newer, longer version, and some additional songs as well. Thanks

  • really nice played! thumbs up :D oh and 1 question. for how long were you playing the guitar since you're able to learn Canon in D?

  • great job man, i learned how to play this on keyboard

  • wow i wanna learn that version

    :(

  • My only complaint is the melody is a bit too quiet, work on dynamics. Other then that awesome.

  • On the tempo, yeah, you can vary it as much as you like, however if you were to slow down an MP3 file, it would sound like crap because all of the imperfections in the mp3 would be played for longer, thus giving it a crappy sound. But many arrangers use accellerandos (sp?) to add something different. When I was in band, we would slow down a piece, then stop, then gradually start speeding up, then go to about 1.5x the original marked tempo. The key is you have to stay true to the rhythm.

  • My jaw literally dropped at 0:47 - You , my good man, are GOOD. This is so beautiful.

  • I'm learning this same version. Its hard for a beginner, but I'm focused. Nicely done.

  • Aguante Leo Amiel !!!!

  • nice job! hehe...

can u give meh the tabs? pls...hehe....

  • There is a tempo or a 'pulse to music but it can be manipulated for aesthetic appeal. It is hard to to do and sounds nice if you do it right. Led Zeppelin is a good example of a band that varies the tempo at some points.

  • Thats maybe the worst example of a band that has tempo changes.

  • nice sounds amazing.

  • this was our wedding song and I just started to play Canon in D on classical guitar, boy it's hard and you are good.

  • wow... super nice piece dude!! 5/5 stars...

  • wow u are so hansome,where u from baby?

  • Job well done, my friend. Very intense.

  • I neeeed to learn this! I cry every time I hear it.

  • well i think is how you fell coz if your feeling nostalgic and not necesay sad or deppresed you can play slowly and its freacking good but if you fell happy a go out with your friends you can play it fast and its freacking awsome!

  • amazing dude

    i wanna learn this now

  • agreed, sounds great fast or slow

  • based on what ground, does this piece prove to be "TOO" fast? Isn't that a matter of choice and taste?

  • nope.

    there's something called tempo.

each piece has it's tempo, and you need to follow it. imagine your vaforite song played 2 times slower or 3 times faster. it WILL suck.

besids, his rythm is off at some points. amazing non the less.

  • no, he's varying the tempo. it sounds better that way. and it just adds flavor. not every song just has one flat tempo.

  • yeah correct urahara

  • i like it fast. makes me feel like i need to practice more

  • too fast guy!!

  • May I suggest a metronome, this piece is better enjoyed slowly, sort of like good sex, sorta.

  • Dude, you played it way too fast...!

  • very nice song... and well played.

  • nicely done and a clean rendition.

  • wow...I wish I could play this!

  • it was too fast ... follow the midi thats come with the file . well good

  • Great rendition...much better about halfway through when you slowed the tempo though. This is one of those pieces where too fast, just doesn't work.

  • The tempo is waaay too fast! What the hell man; what you tryin' to prove?!

  • Avesome

  • Nice, now I'm learning this canon;)

  • teach me how to play this!!!!!!! asap

  • cant play classical 4 some resone!

  • well maybe you should stop trying to conect your acoustic guitar to your amp.

cause you know... well you just can't

  • me either, I can only play lead and rhythm, I just can't control all of my fingers at the same time, it's to hard, but I managed to play cannon in d, a simpler version than this

  • Ya.. I cannot download the tab... I think the file has problem. ^^

  • awesome!then wheres the tabs included?

  • beautiful. nice job John.

  • bravo maestro!

  • it's really good but you should play it slowly at the begining!!! very great performance

  • amazing..

but if you make it slower it would be perfect i guess

  • Some melodies never die. The Pachelbel Canon is one of them. People will be playing this wonderful tune hundreds of years from now, even after we are long gone. The beauty will go on and on...

  • fuck yea! ya killed dude awesome

  • omg i loved this vid. well done your great.lol

  • omg so good! love this video! well done!

  • I loved everything about this video-First of all, you played the single greatest song ever written(IMO). Second, you played it beautifully. Third, you didn't grab attention for yourself with your clothes or the background. Clearly, it was all about the song! I respect that :) Thank-You!

  • Es un poco mas lento pero esta bien!

  • ehh... its kind of fast and som times slow. somtimes 280bpm and some times 50bpm

  • its great playing,I was just pointing out the tab isn't right because people will think its that hard to play, when it isn't as hard as the tab would have you think

  • Wrong tab

  • five stars
