I believe that Green Day is probably the most influential pop-punk band ever. Without them I think we wouldn't see bands like, Blink, MEST, NFG, Allister, etc. Their influence can be seen in almost every pop-punk band. They are amazing and deserve all the success in the world. I hate it when people say Green Day "sold out". That is complete BS!

Green Day plays live with 2 guitarists because billie joe records 2 guitar tracks on every song(and there's 2 guitarists in new found glory). Given new found glory's lead singer isnt playing the guitar and billie joe plays and sings its the same thing. I like both bands and seen them both live, and new found glory is a much more entertaining live band.
