Huge Salou storm (Tormenta) @ Salou Spain - July 12th 2008

I stayed in Salou in september 2005 and the storm was so much worse than this!! all cars on the street were submerged and ended up out in the sea and the roof of our apartment block caved in and all windows smashed, was pretty scary!

I was at the Dorauda Palace when this happened, cool storm hoping for similar (one day only) this year around mid June would be nice

Heey, zoals je in de video kan zien/lezen is dit alles in binnen een uur gebeurd. Savonds heeft het nog wel een tijd heeel erg hard geregend maar het was niet meer zo heftige storm als eind van de middag. De rest rest van de dagen konden we doen wat we wilde en was het weer in het algemeen erg goed voor ons :)

yeah a real whale, there where boats going out to check it out, i think where the winds where so strong it pulled it our way, do you live in salou ?

i was there, i was at aqaupolis, and got stuck in a bus lol. I stayed in hotel best negressco and there was a whale near it, i reckon the storm forced it near the shore.

Just got back from Salou, literally 10 minutes ago.

Came on here to see if any news had come up, but apparently last night (01/11/08), there was a huge storm (which I obviously heard and saw..), but, there was also a tornado so locals have said.

Seems like global warming is doing its thang..

oh yeah, i was there when it happened...ON A CATAMARAN and yes, on the sea...not funny.
