not really, ur speed parameter determines the movement speed of ur shinki, by the time u finish d first game d actual speed of ur shinki is almost like 1/3 of what u can have at d end of mk2, & u can do atk chain to spedup atk animation honestly my shinki can move faster than d Kshatriya or Qubeley in GvG next+

actually a lot of things have been improved from d previous game, most notably is d loading time, more stages, weapon properties r also modifiend, guard jamming etc
