Chris is such an underrated guitarist. Just listen to him almost stay on beat while he's strumming and singing. Now I admit I don't know if this is true but I doubt there are many people in the world that can sing and also play most of the correct chords at the same time.

'Alain Johannes' is not very well known, but his talents are recognized by some heavy hitters! (Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone age, Them crooked Vultures) just to name a few, His band 'Eleven' use to record and tour before his talented wife, 'Natasha Shneider' passed away. Nice to see him supporting vocalist extraordinaire Chris Cornell!

It would be odd for him to start joking after a serious performance like that. I don't know though. Is that his style of humour? I never watch Letterman apart from the musical performances.
