@NaturalGroundation its another variation of a pull-up, so you can also strengthen your core at the same time, as well as ur upperbody within 1 motion
ok ppl stop saying weight has anything to do with how many pullups u can do. it all depends on wat muscle groups you work. i dont care if your a 400 pound power lifter if u incorporate bodyweight excersises in your training u can do just as many pullups as any1 else. hell u can do more than Hannibal for king if your determined enough.
@b5ist weight does matter because if u weigh 300 lbs, ur pulling up around 300 lbs everytime. So it does take a good amount of strength to pull that much weight up multiple times. after a while you become consistent and get used to bodyweight exercises so you can do alot, but that goes with any exercise
@smoovemillions Ur not getting the point. he may weigh 300 pounds but that means he has the proportionate amount of muscle to lift it. A 300 pound guy has more weight but also more muscle so it doesnt make the excersise and more difficult bcz of it. As long as you work those muscle groups a 100 pound guy and 300 pound guy are even. No advantages.
@b5ist My point is; if you can pull up 300 lbs you are "Stronger" then a guy who can only pullup "100 "lbs". The more weight you can and do move; the stronger you are. There maybe no advantage in who can do the "highest amount of reps" but then it becomes an endurance exercise not a strength one.
@smoovemillions ur really not understanding this. Lifting more weight does not make u "stronger". If u weigh more, you should naturally be able to lift more because MUSCLES GROW IN PROPORTION TO WEIGHT. And that wouldnt be an endurance excersise until the last reps where it is completely the will power to keep going. It would still be a strength contest requiring the same amount on proportionate strength. If you still dont get it then nevermind ask some1 else to explain.
@b5ist I think you're touching on "relative strength" @smoovemillions is talking about "absolute strength" A guy that pulls a max deadlift of 600 lbs @ a bodyweight of 16 5lbs would be relatively stronger than a guy pulling the same amount @ a bodyweight of 300 lbs. But if the 300 lbs guy max's out at 950 lbs on deadlift then it makes him "absolutely stronger."
@TheTonganMammoth Yes, i understand where he is coming from because he is stronger in the sense he can lift more but proportionately they are equal unless the person gets over like 900 pounds then physics have more effect. Im just trying to get people to stop using weight as an excuse for doing less pullups
@b5ist You're an idiot. That's beyond wrong. Weight and strength are not on a universally linear graph. Someone who hypothetically weighs 500 lbs in muscle, versus someone at 160, the 160 clearly has the advantage in doing pullups.
@L00kuP are you retarded? R u in like 7th grade and just learn wat a linear graph is and felt the need to use it? It is a direct relationship. Already been proven this is not an opinion it is fact. It's not even debatable i told you before it is proven not opinionated.
@L00kuP illiterate? I have a 5.0 weighted GPA and im illiterate for shortening my words for your understanding and to save my time? Ya you just proved how incompetant you are. You couldn't even give an example of anything i mispelled you inbred waste of space. And before asking me for a source, why don't you provide one yourself to defend your useless argument. @b5ist You are wrong dude. Do you think an ant would have the same strengrth ratio if he'd weigh a 1000 lbs?

@b5ist Mass of the creature grows faster than its strength even if you keep its proportions and just make it bigger. The MASS of the muscle will grow just as you say but the cross-sectional area which determines muscle strength won't.

@thetightpinkie A 100 pound and 200 pound person does not apply to this. The cross sections have grown in proportion throughout the person's life. Thats like saying a 200 pound person in the same physical condition as a 100 pound person shouldn't b able to lift more. More weight is more muscle mass and using that as an excuse for less pullups is exactly that, an excuse.
You can't have somebody twice as heavy be in the same performance range (strength ratio related) as his smaller twin.
Two people of different size trained with the same goal to the max. perfomance are going to have different results. Both of them are going to do more pullups but the smaller guy will have a better strength to weight ratio and therefore more pullups :P
Less leg muscles sure makes pull ups easier, but using it as an excuse for not being able to pull yourself up is pretty lousy. If someone does pull ups because they have no leg muscles, how do you explain pull ups they do with heavy weights strapped to their feet?
dude your an idiot.. this is just the same as anyone else doing them. everyone should be able to lift their own bodyweight thats average.. its not special to say your 300 plus pounds,. it still just you lifting your bodyweight
not a real pull up by my standard keep your legs down or back and crossed is the easiest im in the marines and if we brought up a leg like that we would get quater decked out the fuckin asshole
lol your both fucking losers fighting over the internet naziwarlord theres flaws in your history so your a dumbass still both of you need to go outside and get a education and a woman
remind me when i did this in gym man its hard to pull your own weight wen you can do it belive me your in shape im trying to lose like 25 30kg first its hard to lose weight in sweden is snow and rain all the time you must have a gym card sweden sucks lol
this niggas using his legs as momentum...thus creating an easy pull up...yea he might be doing the bicycle for abs/obliques but its definitely not a proper pull up... lazy mexican pull up if u ask me
yea im fuckin stupid because i think its easy...excellent logic, why dont you get off this fatasses dick while ur at it. windshield wipers are harder to do than this pussy shit. try that?? lol, thats shit still gets easy after a while too... yea he does out weigh me by 100 lbs...and then some cause i aint some fat fuck. u cant tell me thats all muscle dude....
Wow you're not gay at all there queer bag. Did you hang out with your BFF richard simmons earlier today? Or were you masterbating to enrique inglasis and elton john as usual.
LOL its great that you admitted to being a faggot. First step to coming out of the closet, GOOD WORK YOGABUNNY LOL. What kind of name is yogabunny anyways, oh ya...a name for a faggot...thats right.
Calling me an idiot when your getting frustrated over youtube, go hug momma another time faggot.
That's funny because ever since your daddy ran out on you as a child (typical black father) you've been raised by a crack-cocaine induced mother who has severely neglected you.
Yea, momma neglected your bitch ass and now I'm fuckin yo big black momma with my big white dick in her sweet ass. Ooooooo how she screams the feurers name!!!
What's your malfunction? You come up with these pathetic remarks that are sad in all aspects. Good job kid, and speaking of small dicks..hows yours?
My big dick penetrates your mothers anal cavity so deeply that it creates blood seepage. Once the bloody ass juice runs down her leg, I jizz on her pussy and she licks the whole mess up like the dirt bag she is. Sorry, I may be mistaken with your wife...both women resemble 2 dollar crack whores..
Maybe you are confused. The 2" clitoris you are speaking of is not mine but in fact your wifes. A lot of people, including yourself, confuse your wifes abnormal sized clitoris as a small penis. Perhaps this is what helps you achieve your homo-erotic orgasms with other men.
It is funny though how you insist I am apart of the clan. It's nigger loving bullshit like this that makes me laugh at simple-minded folk such as yourself. lol.......
You're a sad and confused niglet lol. Yes, you were just shat on by a white person.
1. The you wish you could get white women. 95% of black women are hideous and foul like garbage. Don't cry and hate cause you never got some white pussy yet.
2. Does it feel like shit for you knowing your family worked in the fields for great masta whitey? Probably because you just another nigger who collects his welfare check. LOL
Great masta whitey says: DROP IT NIGGER. NOW GO FETCH ME SOME WATER, BOY.
Tsk tsk... You fail to achieve a single sentence that doesn't lack in poor grammar or structure.
What you just wrote doesn't make sense and further proves my point that you are an idiot. Your sentence is a perfect example of an oxymoron. Funny, I doubt you would have noticed anyways.
What's better? Sorry could you rephrase your sentences. I couldn't understand the primitive dialect coming from your bald headed cunt of a head. Thanks bitch.
Thats what Im talking bout. I whit the scales at 265-270 and Im on the pull up bar every single day. Most guys thing big men cant to pull ups, bu im like you..I like to prove em wrong
you know what i find amazing though man? most big strong muscular weight training guys who are in that weight range can bench press, lat pulldown, squat and just basically move weight 5 times that is 5 times their own, yet more than 50% of the time they can barely do pushups or not even do a single pullup! i mean they're get so strong lifting weights heavier than them but they can't move their own body weight with push ups or pull ups? i wonder why is that? lol
I know right! Everytime I go workout I never see the big boys on that pull up bar or the dip bar..never see em doing push ups. Im in the Army so Push ups have been a big part of my life for the past 11 years. Pull ups with different hand positions has help me build the back I got now. They got guys who call themselves serious athletes and cant do a damn pull up...lmao Like I said Im bout 265 lbs and I feel like shit when I cant do at least 25 reps of clean pull ups. Or 50 on the dip bars
@FuturePharmD91 i've seen very few big guys with featherweight agility...and i also find it amazingly funny when some of these big guys who can't do a pull up say that the only reason a "smaller" person can do them is because they weigh less...
@6garbageman9 exactly! my friends and i agree on a thing we call "weight to strength ratio" when a really fat guy might have a shit load of muscle and a skinny guy might be bone and nothing else. the big dude may be "stronger."
you can think of this in terms of an ant. we can demolish the shit out of them, but can we live 10 time our body weight? i dont think so.
@6garbageman9 As far as agility, it depends on the exercises, explosive movements build that, half the "big" guys you see don't even work there whole body. As far as pullups goes, the "your lighter" excuse works only one way, if the heaver guy has most of that weight in his legs (is disproportionate), I have that problem, but for everybody else, it's just a bunch of pussies who train like pussies, and will always be pussies
@Jjones12 You don't get what I mean by that. I mean like rock solid 27 inch quads, with a 44 inch chest/back and 14.5 inch arms. That's quite disproportionate!
@santhorhongwei i also think it has to do with the fact they don't train much in endurance so their bones aren't as flexible...because believe me i've seen the "meathead" type who were able to do pullups like nothing
@6garbageman9 Bones aren't "flexible" they are solid, and endurance won't make you stronger. You wanna be real, mix bodyweight with free weights, do weighted pull-ups! One you do a few with 10% your bodyweight, call me, I'll be working out like a man.
@karite36 that's not necessarily true. I'm a sumo wrestler. i can bench over 500lbs. and I can do 20 pull-ups-i currently weigh 309lbs.- alot of big muscle guys think that if they sumo wrestlr they can just power someone out. that's not the caes because the legs are the most important physical attribute of your arsenal. what happens when a heavy bencher can't muscle out the opponent, then endurance, technique, and heart comes into play. so endurance is vital cont.
@karite36 because if you don't have the endurance-muscular and cardio- you will lose in a match or a fight period. i overheard a san quientin correctional officer say that they stopped letting inmates lift weights, but the inmates focused on their endurance and he said now alot of the inmates can't be taken out with just using strength because the inmates will wear you out with all the endurance they built up. so in essence, endurance can make you stronger. it just depends on the situation.
@tyrek12345 OK, OK. But you only really need a special kind of endurance, anaerobic endurance, that caps at about 10min cardio (max intensity) and about 30is reps a set with 30 seconds in between. Inmates are smarter than you think, I wouldn't be surprised if they knew that!
@karite36 I would have to agree. it would be anaerobic. inmates aren't stupid at all. they're just being punished for breaking the law. max intensity has to be executed with short rest periods. so i do agree.
@6garbageman9 theres endurance and so called muscle memory in body weight workouts. i have friends that can do 45 pull ups when they weigh around 70kg. Because they simply do pull ups 100 times over 3 times a week!
@6garbageman9 so true, isnt it more important to be able to move your own body weight then lift weights that are 5times their own. the first one will actually come in handy one day, in how many situations are u required to benchpress 5times your own weight
@6garbageman9 i don't think that's possible. i think someone told you that and you believed it... just like the "bodybuilders aren't strong" myth. compared to powerlifters? no, but to the average person hell yeah they are strong.
@6garbageman9 It's a different kinda movement. If you imagine the difficulty of resistance training, the easiest is with machines... cable, pulleys, rails and all those kinda guides, then comes free weights. Barbells, dumbells etc. THEN comes the bodyweight ones. The increase in difficulty comes from the fact that you're having to bear more of the stability in the movement with your own smaller, supporting muscles. Those supportive muscles are not developed enough in people you mentioned...
@6garbageman9 It's all about what you train for, if you're a powerlifter, you do squats, bench, and deadlifts, not pullups. If your a bodybuilder, and you just want to be big and prance around in a spedo. I'm a powerlifter, but have recently started to incorperate pullups etc into my workout, because it's pretty pitiful to be 240lb, pull 500x4 on a deadlift, and only do 8 pullups. by the way, unless that guy is 7ft tall, he's not 325, maybe if he's like 6'5 he's 270lb
@6garbageman9 That is because their big chest are blocking their pushups motion. Their pushups motions are limited now since their chest are way too big.
@6garbageman9 I think it's 'cause when they do weights they work their muscles out individually, isolating them to make each muscle strong and gain mass, but push ups and pull ups are the best, all your muscles work together. Plus I'd rather carry myself than be huge, check out HANNIBAL FOR KING that dudes got crazy upper body strength.
There's an elite powerlifter benching 600 who couldn't get a single pullup. Not sure whom, as it was someone that was being vaguely mocked since that's uh, pretty fucking pathetic.
@Jjones12 how so? pull ups for example consist of the same motion as lat pulldowns...but then again the fixed motion of the lat pulldown machine might be different
@6garbageman9 It just is.. Some people have more weight on their legs others on their upper body.. Squat with a barbell and then squat with a person on your back.. It's wayyy different
@6garbageman9 Different training types make different msucles. Thats why you can get the best result combining weight training with bodyweight excersices.
@6garbageman9 because they have developed their fast twitch muscle fibers but pay no attention to their slow twitch muscles which have to do with endurance. Fast twitch muscles fibers are easier to develop. If developed, a person can lift a lot of weight and usually do it with explosive speed which looks impressive but how long can one do it is a different story. If you ever see someone that can lift a lot of weight and rep at very high intervals chances are they mix calisthenics with weights.
@mrighteous1 you just tried to sound smart and made yourself sound stupid lol. Im sorry but that has nothing to do with what his question was asking...I don't think doing a single pullup has anything to do with endurance.
@6garbageman9 Two different types of strength. I weigh like 255 lbs and I will tell you, allot of it is mental and what you are used to also. Some guys just lift and never do any body weight exercises and that's a big part of it too. If a person starts working out and doing sports and incorporates many different things in their workout, they can be really strong in all areas. Hope that helps
@azzaisthegreatest you were the same jackass who was talking shit on another video of some guy doing full extension dumbell curls on the preacher station with about 70 lbs huh?? talking about he needed to "drop the weight" and use pussy ass light weight like you do lol!!!
not really u moron, if you watch the preacher curl video his form is totally off, hes gaining nothing from that if anyhting he wud gain more for doing half that weight in terms of muscle growth and resistance, dickwad
you dumbass! do you know the difference between training to build muscle mass, as oppose to training to get toned? to gain muscle mass, YOU HAVE TO GO HEAVY ON THE WEIGHT! which means you might have to cheat a little! obviously whatever form he had, it got him the right kind of results! do you see many beefy bodybuilders using "strict/proper" form when they train? look, don't be pissed because you still struggle with bench pressing 135 for reps
" you might have to cheat a little", then you go on to say "whatever he had" its pretty obviously hes on performance enahncers or supplements , who isn't today ? compare the bodybuilders of the past there not as big as the modern day ones are you muppet.... "so you see bodybuilers using strict form " WTF youmust of been ass raped by your mum when you were a child u twat ! type in ronnie coleman, adrian yates etc they use good form u fuking idiot !
you expect me to believe you know more when you talk like a child with those little childish sounding remarks?? 'fuck outta here little boy, oh and by the way jackass many old school bodybuilders hardly ever used this "good form" you are talking about, mainly the only ones who keep talking about "strict form"this and "strict form" that are little slim 150 lb mini muscle having faggots, you must be one of them since you constantly think that "strict form" will give u good results
by the way asshole, i've trained with weights for 12 years so don't worry, i'm well experienced with weight training and muscle confusion methods..and the only time i really focus on using "strict form" is generally at the end of my routine with a lighter weight for a pumping burn out of the muscle....like i told you before ASSisthegreatest, STICK TO DOING YOUR "PROPER FORM" WITH YOUR 10 LB DUMBELLS, you fuckin' wienie lol!!!!!
who cares about your routine i never asked you about your routine did i now ? why don't you post your videos up and show us your magnificent physicque seeing as you have had "12 years of weight training" experience ... hmmmmm coleman and yates are 150 lb small men :S? lol last time i checked they looked 250lb + .... "pumping burn out of the muscle"...lol you mean LACTIC ACID idiot ! are you sure you have 12 years of experience with weight lifting or has your daddy been raping you for 12 years ?
i know you didn't ask me about my routine fuckface but you insinuated that i didn't know shit about weight training so i gave you a little scoop...and i didn't say that ronnie coleman or dorian yates are 150 lb small guys you idiot! i said that little slim mini muscle having fags like you are the ones who constantly talk about "strict form"...look dont be mad because your "strict form" got you minimal results and you're too much a pussy go heavy in weight to get stronger and bigger
your a loser, no one likes you, you know nothing about body building, your probably a fat retarded old ugly bastard that sits on the computer all day long......... your mother is calling you now, so go fuk her crinkly smelly butt hole :D wasteeeeeeeeee !
uh yeah! nobody likes me yet people were already talking shit on your page and people are talking shit about you on this video and the other video...you are such a lame that you had to delete all the comments from your page where people were verbally bitchslapping your dumbass hahaha! look here son, get off youtube, and do something productive with your worthless life...better yet just kill yourself, your existence is meaningless! :P
"isnt it time you got ready for work?"?? is that even suppose to be an insult??? looks like i got you so mad at me that you can't even think straight to come up with a good insult that even makes sense lol!!!!
yeah that's right shut the fuck up now because you have no valid arguments...now feel free to drop a your little lightweight 10lb dumbells over your skull and kill yourself bitch hahahaha!
exactly, its only youtube numbnuts, so there was no reason for you to even throw a fit in the first place when i first called you a little weakling on that other video....retard :P
Why is he moving his feet? He isn't riding a bike he is doing a pull up.

It's nigger loving bullshit like this that makes me laugh at simple-minded folk such as yourself. lol.......

Thats what Im talking bout. I whit the scales at 265-270 and Im on the pull up bar every single day. Most guys thing big men cant to pull ups, bu im like you..I like to prove em wrong
Pharoe29 2 years ago
you know what i find amazing though man? most big strong muscular weight training guys who are in that weight range can bench press, lat pulldown, squat and just basically move weight 5 times that is 5 times their own, yet more than 50% of the time they can barely do pushups or not even do a single pullup! i mean they're get so strong lifting weights heavier than them but they can't move their own body weight with push ups or pull ups? i wonder why is that? lol
6garbageman9 2 years ago 14
I know right! Everytime I go workout I never see the big boys on that pull up bar or the dip bar..never see em doing push ups. Im in the Army so Push ups have been a big part of my life for the past 11 years. Pull ups with different hand positions has help me build the back I got now. They got guys who call themselves serious athletes and cant do a damn pull up...lmao Like I said Im bout 265 lbs and I feel like shit when I cant do at least 25 reps of clean pull ups. Or 50 on the dip bars
Pharoe29 2 years ago
@6garbageman9 It's because they have no functional strength lol. Bodyweight exercises get you functional strength.
FuturePharmD91 1 year ago
@FuturePharmD91 i've seen very few big guys with featherweight agility...and i also find it amazingly funny when some of these big guys who can't do a pull up say that the only reason a "smaller" person can do them is because they weigh less...
6garbageman9 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 I know right it's hilarious lol
FuturePharmD91 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 exactly! my friends and i agree on a thing we call "weight to strength ratio" when a really fat guy might have a shit load of muscle and a skinny guy might be bone and nothing else. the big dude may be "stronger."
you can think of this in terms of an ant. we can demolish the shit out of them, but can we live 10 time our body weight? i dont think so.
StormHornet56 1 year ago
@StormHornet56 yeah when ever you lift something divide that weight by your own body weight to get a better idea of who is pound for pound stronger.
MrCatalano14 1 year ago
@StormHornet56 That's how strength is always measured.
karite36 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 As far as agility, it depends on the exercises, explosive movements build that, half the "big" guys you see don't even work there whole body. As far as pullups goes, the "your lighter" excuse works only one way, if the heaver guy has most of that weight in his legs (is disproportionate), I have that problem, but for everybody else, it's just a bunch of pussies who train like pussies, and will always be pussies
karite36 1 year ago
@karite36 Most of your weight should come from your legs.. Your legs are the biggest muscle group you have.
Jjones12 1 year ago
@Jjones12 You don't get what I mean by that. I mean like rock solid 27 inch quads, with a 44 inch chest/back and 14.5 inch arms. That's quite disproportionate!
karite36 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 because their muscles block some of their mobility.
santhorhongwei 1 year ago
@santhorhongwei i also think it has to do with the fact they don't train much in endurance so their bones aren't as flexible...because believe me i've seen the "meathead" type who were able to do pullups like nothing
6garbageman9 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 Bones aren't "flexible" they are solid, and endurance won't make you stronger. You wanna be real, mix bodyweight with free weights, do weighted pull-ups! One you do a few with 10% your bodyweight, call me, I'll be working out like a man.
karite36 1 year ago
@karite36 that's not necessarily true. I'm a sumo wrestler. i can bench over 500lbs. and I can do 20 pull-ups-i currently weigh 309lbs.- alot of big muscle guys think that if they sumo wrestlr they can just power someone out. that's not the caes because the legs are the most important physical attribute of your arsenal. what happens when a heavy bencher can't muscle out the opponent, then endurance, technique, and heart comes into play. so endurance is vital cont.
tyrek12345 1 year ago
@karite36 because if you don't have the endurance-muscular and cardio- you will lose in a match or a fight period. i overheard a san quientin correctional officer say that they stopped letting inmates lift weights, but the inmates focused on their endurance and he said now alot of the inmates can't be taken out with just using strength because the inmates will wear you out with all the endurance they built up. so in essence, endurance can make you stronger. it just depends on the situation.
tyrek12345 1 year ago
@tyrek12345 OK, OK. But you only really need a special kind of endurance, anaerobic endurance, that caps at about 10min cardio (max intensity) and about 30is reps a set with 30 seconds in between. Inmates are smarter than you think, I wouldn't be surprised if they knew that!
karite36 1 year ago
@karite36 I would have to agree. it would be anaerobic. inmates aren't stupid at all. they're just being punished for breaking the law. max intensity has to be executed with short rest periods. so i do agree.
tyrek12345 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 theres endurance and so called muscle memory in body weight workouts. i have friends that can do 45 pull ups when they weigh around 70kg. Because they simply do pull ups 100 times over 3 times a week!
santhorhongwei 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 so true, isnt it more important to be able to move your own body weight then lift weights that are 5times their own. the first one will actually come in handy one day, in how many situations are u required to benchpress 5times your own weight
Sepuku6 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 i don't think that's possible. i think someone told you that and you believed it... just like the "bodybuilders aren't strong" myth. compared to powerlifters? no, but to the average person hell yeah they are strong.
CharoChas 1 year ago
i don't know which comment of mine you are answering
6garbageman9 1 year ago
@6garbageman9
true words mate !
fuck weightlifting LIFT YOUR OWN WEIGHT AND GET STRONG !
edigoktoni 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 It's a different kinda movement. If you imagine the difficulty of resistance training, the easiest is with machines... cable, pulleys, rails and all those kinda guides, then comes free weights. Barbells, dumbells etc. THEN comes the bodyweight ones. The increase in difficulty comes from the fact that you're having to bear more of the stability in the movement with your own smaller, supporting muscles. Those supportive muscles are not developed enough in people you mentioned...
dariunas 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 It's all about what you train for, if you're a powerlifter, you do squats, bench, and deadlifts, not pullups. If your a bodybuilder, and you just want to be big and prance around in a spedo. I'm a powerlifter, but have recently started to incorperate pullups etc into my workout, because it's pretty pitiful to be 240lb, pull 500x4 on a deadlift, and only do 8 pullups. by the way, unless that guy is 7ft tall, he's not 325, maybe if he's like 6'5 he's 270lb
karite36 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 That is because their big chest are blocking their pushups motion. Their pushups motions are limited now since their chest are way too big.
PoorBoy1979 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 I think it's 'cause when they do weights they work their muscles out individually, isolating them to make each muscle strong and gain mass, but push ups and pull ups are the best, all your muscles work together. Plus I'd rather carry myself than be huge, check out HANNIBAL FOR KING that dudes got crazy upper body strength.
MrDrilla22 1 year ago
@6garbageman9
ive never seen anyone who had an incredibly strong bench, dead and squat that couldnt do a single pullup, or not many pushups

shawtylikemystyle 3 months ago
@6garbageman9 because the body's weight is distributed differently than a weight set..
Jjones12 1 year ago
@Jjones12 how so? pull ups for example consist of the same motion as lat pulldowns...but then again the fixed motion of the lat pulldown machine might be different
6garbageman9 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 It just is.. Some people have more weight on their legs others on their upper body.. Squat with a barbell and then squat with a person on your back.. It's wayyy different
Jjones12 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 Different training types make different msucles. Thats why you can get the best result combining weight training with bodyweight excersices.
bangomargit 1 year ago
@6garbageman9 because they have developed their fast twitch muscle fibers but pay no attention to their slow twitch muscles which have to do with endurance. Fast twitch muscles fibers are easier to develop. If developed, a person can lift a lot of weight and usually do it with explosive speed which looks impressive but how long can one do it is a different story. If you ever see someone that can lift a lot of weight and rep at very high intervals chances are they mix calisthenics with weights.
mrighteous1 11 months ago
@mrighteous1 you just tried to sound smart and made yourself sound stupid lol. Im sorry but that has nothing to do with what his question was asking...I don't think doing a single pullup has anything to do with endurance.
Natesageek 10 months ago
@Natesageek any body weight excersize takes some level of endurance if its 1 pullup/chinup or 20 muscle ups
b5ist 6 months ago
@6garbageman9 Two different types of strength. I weigh like 255 lbs and I will tell you, allot of it is mental and what you are used to also. Some guys just lift and never do any body weight exercises and that's a big part of it too. If a person starts working out and doing sports and incorporates many different things in their workout, they can be really strong in all areas. Hope that helps

azzaisthegreatest 2 years ago
you dumbass! do you know the difference between training to build muscle mass, as oppose to training to get toned? to gain muscle mass, YOU HAVE TO GO HEAVY ON THE WEIGHT! which means you might have to cheat a little! obviously whatever form he had, it got him the right kind of results! do you see many beefy bodybuilders using "strict/proper" form when they train? look, don't be pissed because you still struggle with bench pressing 135 for reps
6garbageman9 2 years ago
you must be the biggest idiot on this wesbite
