@nielsboex Because this is basically the same engine which produces 570 HP in the sls. It is a much tuned down version of that engine. You can get a sports package on this very car that will bring the HP up to 480. That is a lot more than BMW or Audi have in this class, however driving fun is not just about HP as Chris here demonstrates.

If the Merc was "half cheaper" then it would cost around £29,000 which is doesn't. It's getting on for around £60,000. And actually for your information if you opt for the 'Carbon Package' on the Audi it could hit 174 mph which is clearly faster considering the Merc can only do 155. So get back in your cave little boy.

I owned 2 audi's in my life and never again 2004 A4 convertible PROBLEMS-Camshaft seals and valve steam seals ware replaced, Oil lights would come on every 2-3 weeks spend hundreds spend trying to fixing it mechanics never did figure out the problem sold at had 73xxxx Miles Audi-2 2002 A6 4.2L transmission went out at 47.xxx miles dealer wanted 4 grand to fix

You are comparing this information to the older Audi's. My Grand father has had Audi's since 2005 and none of them have went wrong. 05' A6 3.0 TDI quattro, 09' Audi 2.0 TFSI quattro S-Line and now a 11' Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TFSI quattro. The only thing that has went wrong-ish was the tire pressure monitoring system. Which displayed the information wrong.

I love the E55 AMG, what a car. I've just bought a 2011 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI quattro Black Edition S-Tronic... Sweet machine! The thing with Merc is that they usually have mechanical problems later down the line..

@CalvinS63 Yea they are lots of fun but W211 they to have problems and the biggest one is the AIRMATIC suspension which starts to leak at higher millage. But there are conversions to steal ones and they are cheaper and much better handling. Luckily my ware changed at 45.xxx so im good for now anyways there are few audi models that i do like ALOT. and that is the older 5 cylinder turbo engines like 2002 S4 seen those with 280.xxx miles and still going strong

@robbie1490 i hate to say it but at the end of the day there are quite a few soccer moms that drive this car. its really easy for bmw to make an exhaust that is really loud and race sound (like the eisenmanns check them out) but they have to entertain and satisfy a wide range of drivers. so the stock exhaust isn't the louder, when ur revving high close to 6000- 7000 and u switch gears it does make a mean sound. n e ways, I'm not too happy with it so I'm getting an eisenmann race installed soon

RS5 drifts if you want it, and YES YOU CAN DRIFT RS5 whats the point of drifting? it mean car is not stabilized on the road. Audi will be over, while C63 and M3 are either crashed of the road or still sliding trying to get to the finish line. Audi RS5 any time, all the time.
