onslaught is easy to beat, psylocke with strider...stay in the corner and every time he does a special move block it all then release psylocke and do a 5 hit combo then repeat. For the 2nd form use ryu and keep doing super hadouken. Easy!

Onslaught owned every single 2d fighting game ever in the MvC series. Abyss was so easy as fuck...even a beginner could beat Abyss in the arcade. Onslaught actually took a pro to beat. To be honest, I've found that it's easiest to beat Onslaught with a team of Chun-Li and Ryu. Chun-Li deals with both forms well, but her Hyakuretsukyaku and Senretsukyaku are enough of a threat to Onslaught that he crumbles under them easily. As for the second form, use Ryu's Shinkuu-Hadou-Ken on Onslaught's head to deal the most damage. That or MegaMan's Hyper MegaMan.

Man, whoever was playing this fight was (no offense) not very good at all. This fight was REALLY easy if you just get his rhythm down. The player attacked waaaaaaaaaay too much; beating Onslaught is all about patience. Block until he's just sitting there doing his stance, then hit him with a combo -- I found that Ryu's air Shinkuu Hadouken or War Machine's Proton Cannon work VERY well. Lather, rinse, repeat, even for his second form.
