  • gasolina ? poooootz

  • whats that noise at :50?

  • you beat the hell out of that thing nice run though!

  • dude just like drop the clutch its alot better for it than making it slip like that. being that you just got it i cant be too hard on ya but if you work on it i think youll be able to be fine

  • wtf? whats up with the transmission? i like it tho, its crazy how it makes the gears, itt gives it a last pull before gearing up, lol

  • @JoshuaBaldwinBrown Haha no its a manual, and me shifting like shit

  • @cheefchin oh! lol..

  • The whole my truck has a governor thing is new to me. I have had it up to 130(mph), almost 210 kph and it didn't shut down. Took it out on a highway a few days ago and it shut down at 110, 180kph. Weird, up until this point I thought these trucks didn't have a governor.

  • the american one is much stronger

  • Then the European turbo diesel? Yes, it definetly is faster.

  • oh its a diesel?? how big is the engine?

  • 2.5L 4 cylinder.

  • no, what the hell... that is a 4.0 V6. because it goes clearly to 6000 rotations. The 2.5 goes to 5000r and 6000r is on the red line. trust me, i got one,

  • Yah I know, we just got confused about the question.

  • wow. they must make them smaller there. mine is a 4.0 liter v6...

but yours seems really quick for a 4 cylinder

  • Oh wait we got confused lol...I gave the engine size of the diesel in response to your question...I didn't know that you were asking about my engine. I have the 4.0L V6 in my truck.

  • @alberttheIV 98-04 had a four cyl and a 6 cyl optional. the 4 is the same engine as the 240 sx and altima ect, and was put in xterras of the same era. the 6 was a bored and stroked version based off of the VG30E used in the 300zx. that 2.4 is a KA24DE. they are WAY reliable but way slow. lol

  • i don't know about u gyes, i have a 2.5L TB, with almost 180h.p., consume in Molsocow arround 12.6L/100km. on hi-way about 11.5 to max 12.2 at 190km/h. The exact sec o-100 for a 4.0 L V6 is 8.9 sec... For 2.5L TB is 11.5, but i am still very happy with it, consume is very low, Diesel costs in Moscow like very cheap, and i drove with 190km/h, with it and it was ok. i had 190km/h at 3800RPM out of 6000, so i am happy.

  • The 0-60 for the 4.0L is a little less then 8.9secs...its closer to high 7's.

  • What the hell is that noise at around 180kph?

  • Poor windshield seal.

  • what RPM are you at when your doing 100kph in 6th gear?

  • 1900 RPM

  • 0-100km/h around 10 sec?shouldn't it be faster with 4.0L V6?I may be wrong

  • It should be but I didn't launch and shifted poorly.

  • at least you're honest

  • What, this Frontier did the quarter mile (based on the trip-o-meter) in abut 13 seconds and doing over 120 MPH. Maybe it is sitting on a Dyno-meter? I am not sure if mine would do that. Of course, I never push that hard, seldom over 3000 RPM.

  • Oh hell no...1/4 mile for that run would be in the 15's at probably 85 mph.

  • Ooops, now I see the speedo is in kph, not MPH.

  • it´s de 2.5 really?

  • Nope...4.0L V6

  • turbodiesel??

  • Haha hell no...N/A gas

  • run ur truck on supreme!!!!!!!!!!! it might cost a little bit more buts its worth it

  • Been using premium for just under a year now.

  • thats awsome man. i almost bought a 2005 nissan frontier 6speed manual SE 2x4 but instead i got a 2005 frontier automatic LE 4x4 for about the same price but with about 10,000 more miles on it. ive gotten it up to 105mph before

  • I have a 2006 also, added 2.5" 650mm to a single 3" 750mm I think... collector and the longest magnaflo I could find. Its quiet on soft throttle and throaty on full. Also added the Injen powerflo intake.

87octane fuel stock sized tires. Automatic the truck dyno'd at 217Rwhp(303ish hp at the flywheel). Stock in the states is mid 190's. I am pretty sure the engine would make into the 400's with twin turbos and lots of boost, and at 8.XX:1 compression its ready to go.

  • I got a 06 Frontier LE, it craps out at 110-MPH. It's probably my favorite vehicle that I have ever owned. The only problem is it breaks to much (warranty repairs)... Maybe I got a lemon?

  • Hmm...what has been breaking on it?

  • So far / parts replaced;

CD Player, belt tensioner, fan clutch, LR spring assembly, transfer case output seal, entire rear differential, and the timing chain tensioners. There's probably more, but I can't remember right now. That's a lot of shit for a vehicle with 60K. My wift bought an Xterra at the same time(mostly same mechanical parts)and has not had one problem.

  • frontier v6 is cool but the european turbo diesel is way better....more torque, same payload and hauling capacity, and 28 MPG!!! I dont know about you guys but I will take that over 19 any day.

  • I second the liking of the turbo diesel, but I definetly get better than 19 mpg.

  • what do you get combined?

  • Depends how I drive. With 50/50 city/highway, with a lead foot in the city I got 23 mpg last tank.

  • I get 16.5 MPG, mostly city driving.

  • very underestamated truck. although its only a v6, it still puts out 285hp stock and is relatively light, when u put that behind a 6speed manual it has no problem laying rubber in 4th gear at 130km/h..... easily one of the fastest production trucks today

  • Haha, well its got 285 with my exhaust and intake (265 stock in this vid). And I havent yet laid rubber in 4th a 130, but it definetly is one of the faster trucks from the factory.

  • yaa ur rite lay rubber is the wrong word. i get a nice chirp shifting into 4rth. with a decent intake and exhaust you culd be over 300BHP. i put a K&N intake, homemade dual cat-backs on mine and it dyno'd at 255hp at the wheels compared to 215 stock. they estimated around 315 BHP

  • Really? Nice results man! I know my Volant and custom Flowmaster system sure woke up my truck. Now with my 2* timing advance it drives like a whole 'nother vehicle. I should get mine dynoed sometime...

  • Memphis how is that slow. its a truck weighing in at 2.2t ..... For a V6 that is tuned for low end torque its damn good.

  • Thanks man, if only it was tuned for low end torque. Although I get 90% of my torque at 1500 RPM, I don't even get WOT until 2nd gear!

  • Pretty slow. I don't understand why people buy these and drive them around like they think they are fast. Wankers. Learn how to change gears.

  • Haha, yes I agree about the shifting, but I have gotten better, check out my other speed run on my profile. As for not being very fast...well they are. And what is your definition of "these?" Oh ya, what do you drive?

  • because they haul ass

  • my 07 longbed frontier SE crew cab is faster than your 4x4 frontier it dosent take me 30seconds to hit 115mph

  • wow, my 2007 tacoma would walk all over that.

  • Well, providing your's is stock like mine is, it wouldn't. My shifting here is shit, not gonna lie, but now I am much better. Next time you're in town we'll race :)

  • A full tank of gas is 180 lbs 0_0

    6spds are faster :P

    Get the chip!

  • Gotta make a 3000 mi road trip for the tune, plus $1000. Someday...and yes, 6 spds are faster:)

  • where can you get the chip?

  • Well, it's a tune not a chip as there's no chip on the market...yet. The full tune can be done in Austin Texas, or you can get a flash e-mailed to you that you can put into your ECU with a laptop in your driveway.

  • Tune not chip, my mistake

  • nissan titan is...

  • I think this is the quickest Japanese pick-up truck ever made...

  • Yup, this is right up there with the Toyota 4-Runner and the Titan.

  • Sorry, I meant the Toyota X-Runner.

  • wrong search for toyota hilux trd or toyota hilux vigo d4

  • i have a 07 se frontier, its pretty quick!!

  • what the hell was weird high pitched noise?

  • That, I believe is my windsheild.

  • I think you need performance tyres, it will let you speed better and reduce the risk of tyre "blow off"

  • Yah, but my tires are rated to my govenor, so they won't blow.

  • And you could install a <Magnaflow Dual(or quad) exhaust)

  • Well...Flowmaster is better...and it will be dual...no quad exhaust possible.

  • Oh i see

  • u are grinding ur clutch

  • I'm a big GM guy but these new Frontiers and Titans seem pretty quick. Nice Truck.

  • Thanks man :)

  • Hey thanks for the comment. What is it your exactly doing? cause from 2nd to 3rd you did something wierd and from 3rd to 4th the rpm's rev a little agian

  • That would be my not-so-good shifting...I am letting the clutch out too slowly as I'm getting on the gas, so the RPM's climb before the clutch if fully engaged. I'm getting better though :)

  • I see.

  • Woo, love that sound!! How much horsepower is it running?

  • Yah I love that sound too! Even for stock exhaust, although you really only hear the engine here (which sounds amazing). I am running completely stock, so about 265hp and 285 ft/lbs of torque. Probably about 50 less or more for hp and torque to the rear wheels.

  • Wow... I guess weight must put down alot of the speed that could have been, but still, it's amazing... :O I'm stealing your engine just to listen to it! :P

  • Yah, its not a light truck, but I wasn't shifting that good, had a slow rolling start which made it slower. I'm sure I could get a faster run than that :) What vehicle do you drive?

  • Seriously, I'm 14, lmao... I'm GOING to inherit my grandpas MG-B, with about half of the horsepower you have, lol... about 92 Hp at 110 Ft. Lbs of torque, lol... Luckily, I somehow know how to drive standard. I'm like, super car loving guy, so I think I just know these things on instinct.

  • Well, only two more years! By the way, I love MG's and they are fun to drive, so I've heard. Driving a stick wasn't the easiest thing to learn for me, but boy it is fun once you get the hang of it.

  • I know, eh? MG's are like, the epiphany (or however you spell it) of auto engineering! I'm used to a five speed with reverse on the bottom right side... But with the MG, it's a four speed with reverse on the upper left side... Kinda confusing when trying to go into 1st. That's usually when I remember that I have to push down the stick to go into reverse and my paranoia is gone for about 2 minutes, lol.

  • Yah, I'm not sure about MG being the epiphany of auto engineering, but they are a very clever design and great execution. I sure love my 6 speed!

  • Haha, I'll bet, 6 speed probably takes a little to get used to though... Ok well, I've pretty much taken up this whole page of comments, so I'll leave you to get on with life, lol. Have a merry Christmas!

  • You too! :)

  • Never mind, I looked again ~110mph. Average.

  • What's 180kph in mph? Is it modified? If not, I want a Nissan Frontier now.

  • Nope completely stock, and it would go a fair bit faster without the govenor if you wanted to go that fast in a truck.

  • as you can see on the speedo its about 115mph

  • IS this in canada

  • Yup...

  • or the left of the windsheild:)

  • my pathfinder does that the 2nd you hit 100mph it only happens when it under 65 F it caused by weather striping in the windsheild.if u put your hand to the top right of the wind sheild you can feel the air

  • OK thanks for that tip, I might have to check that out next time :)

  • buzzer? my truck has no such thing

  • What truck do you have? This was the only thing I could narrow down the sound to as it happened at the exact same speed every time.

  • damn who taught you how to shift!!! :)

  • Hey Gross, is that you? Ya no kiddin eh ;) Naw I did a better one later...
