  • Hi there. 'Free health' would be doctors, nurses etc working for free. Ie volunteering. If they, and anyone else in the health system is paid an income, then it is *not*' 'free healthcare'.

  • @Jcushing5 Which is why it is called "free at the point of use".

  • NHS is tired & pathetic more money won't work, hasn't worked...time to try something else, the vast majority of British people have been taught in school & through the media to 'worship' at the alter of state & the NHS.. Time to wake up sheeple...(yes I'm British, yes I have worked in the NHS)

  • @kainejoyes I disagree. The NHS is neither pathetic and nor has it failed.

It provides free healthcare to all. It is good quality, it is relatively swift, and it has driven up life expectancy and drastically reduced infant mortality. Compared to other countries (namely the US), where people have crippling medical bills, precarious health insurance, and where primary care is very varied (and seldom accessed), I would pick the NHS every time.

  • @iluvmusicqwe don't have to be a socialist to want to support the NHS mate! many conservatives feel passionate about that subject also

  • God helps us if labour get elected again

  • How do you learn to speak like this? When our politicians speak they are either reading words that are not their own (Obama) or they sound like fools (most Congressmen and Senators).

We used to have orators; Patrick Henry, Daniel Webster, Henry Clay even the late Robert Byrd..

It's not just that you speak without stumbling or using trite phrases "let me be clear," "look;" it's your voice and intonation.

And, it's not just you but many members of the House of Commons.

  • fuck this NHS-bashing elitist toff

  • @MorginWard Fuck off you socialist twat

  • @iluvmusicqwe Supporting NHS is socialist? That is why Ukip will never be elected.

  • @iluvmusicqwe

The NHS is socialism, but good socialism.

The NHS is a wonderful institution, and although socialist in nature, it is supported by people from all corners of the political spectrum, and held dear by the vast majority of the British people.

Daniel Hannan is the twat for going on Fox News and spreading blatant lies about the institution. Thus, his integrity is in tatters, no matter what your stance on the EU, and he should, in my opinion, have lost the whip.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Good socialism?

NHS = politicians steal millions from the population, keep the lion's share for themselves and their politically connected corporations and sprinkle the crumbs onto the people it was actually intended for.

Like welfare, only a tiny fraction of the money collected for socialized healthcare actually gets to poor people. A charity who ran like the NHS or our own healthcare here in Canada in this manner would be in jail for fraud.

  • @lordthawkeye I'm not so sure how things work in Canada, but over here the NHS is a nationalised institution; private companies do not provide the care, but government-run hopsitals and clinics.

As much that as a Brit I am obliged to despise our politicians, and in fairness, they do recieve obscene salaries and expenses, but by no means "the lion's share."

Of course there are inefficiencies, but the NHS is actually more efficient than the US, France, Germany and Canada!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 "Of course there are inefficiencies, but the NHS is actually more efficient than the US, France, Germany and Canada!"

Guess what? They all say that about their respective healthcare. That's the power of propaganda at work.

The error is that it's the wrong comparison. What you need to compare it to is what came before in your own country. I have challenged Brits for years to show me proof that the cost of healthcare was high before NHS and went down after.

  • @lordthawkeye Well, considering that the NHS costs just over 8% of UK GDP, compared to around 10% in France, Germany and Canada and over 16% in America, I'd say we're not doing so badly, especially considering that the US doesn't have universal care, and in France and Germany there are charges for access.

Short answer: we're right, they're wrong.

Furthermore, you can compare healthcare in 2011 to before 1948. It costs less than other countries now and that's what is important.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 "Furthermore, you can't compare healthcare in 2011 to before 1948."

Why not? Because you say so?

Or maybe it's because healthcare actually got more expensive after the government took over it. You seriously expect me to believe politicians could run a monopoly healthcare system better than many firms having to compete with each other? Track record wise, politicians couldn't run a hot dog stand without bankrupting it.

  • @lordthawkeye No, because in 1948, British healthcare was a total shambles, and not an accurate depiction of what either the public or private sectors could produce.

It had just emerged from the strain of the bloodiest war in history on it's doorstep. As an example, certain London hospitals were placing the legs of beds in pots of oil to stop cockroaches from climbing onto the beds.

Then national structure of hospitals was a mess, facilities were varied.

    WATCH:

    watch?v=mCrHlAemaFw

  • @BasilFawlty4444 And who is it who wages wars? Last I checked, it was the government.

So the government gets total control of an industry that they banged up in the first place? If you're trying to make me feel better about the situation, it's not working.

And how about this question: If it's so great, why do you have to force people to fund it? If you love NHS, they get your money. If you hate NHS, they get your money. If you don't care about NHS, they get your money.

  • @lordthawkeye You won't twist my arm around my back. WWII was a righteous war against an evil tyrant. Healthcare was not banged up by the government, it was hastily subsidised in a few short months in which around 50,000 people were killed in bombing.

I suppose the British (and Commonwealth) governments should have allowed the Nazi takeover of Poland?

In answer to your question: the NHS is great because it is free. If it was not funded by taxpayers, it would not great. (cont)

  • @BasilFawlty4444 It's not free, it's not great.

  • @MrGilles1990 It is free at the point of use.

And it is substantially cheaper than the charged systems in the US, France and Germany.

    And yes, it is great.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 It might be free at the point of use, but it's not cheap or free when you think about efficiency and how much it costs the government.

  • @MrGilles1990 You'll be surprised to hear then that the NHS is actually one of the most efficient systems in the world.

It typically costs between 8-10% of UK GDP, compared to 10% in Canada, over 10% the partially-socialsed German and French systems and over 16% in the non-universal US system.

NHS Primary Care is among, if not the best, in the world. Visiting the doctor for free is (unsurprisingly) a big advantage as people do it more, helping earlier diagnoses etc (continued...)

  • @MrGilles1990 (...continued)

Even in partially socialised countries such as France, a trip to the doctor will cost about €22, which is small compared to the United States, and in fairness French GPs are very lax about payment. watch?v=uNR_6UuVl4s

But the fact remains that free or at least inexpensive Primary Care makes the general population healthier; Britain has a significantly higher life expectancy than the United States.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 I could not care less about the US. the NHS Is highly inefficient, take the computer system scandal.

  • @MrGilles1990 Yes, the media have a habit of latching on to single issues. Of course, this is unacceptable, but the last Labour government actually vastly improved the NHS under years of neglect by Thatcher. And it is cheaper than other systems.

The NHS is loved by most Britons. Don't confuse complaining about small issues with a desire to see the whole thing gone. Nobody would tolerate that.

Indeed, when it comes to efficiency in healthcare, steer clear of the private sector.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Thatcher actually increased the money spent on the NHS. 12 billion pounds wasted by bureaucracy and lack of efficiency is not a small issue, it's a huge scandal. If you want to have an efficient and cost affective healthcare system, steer away from nationalised healthcare. The NHS is a post war 20th century model not fit for this century. I have friends who work in the NHS and they tell me of how bureaucratic and chaotic it is. Give me the French model over the NHS any day.

  • @lordthawkeye (cont)

Furthermore, "forced" is such an ugly way to put it. That, clearly, is your interpretation of taxation, but not mine.

I believe taxation is a neccessity in order to fund institutions such as the NHS and the Welfare State. Nobody likes taxation, but it is nonetheless vital.

  • @lordthawkeye correction*sorry, you CAN'T compare healthcare in 2011 to 1948

  • Must say hes a really good spokesperson!!!

  • Hannan gained another fan in the US when I saw this speech. Truth is so easy to recognize when crystallized within language..

  • Great person in the EP. Grz from The Netherlands.

  • Sound!

  • I liked this before but I think it is necessary to do so again. What annoys me is the smug look on Gordon Brown's face as he takes this verbal beating - he clearly doesn't care that he's messed up the UK economy for the next 10 years (minimum).

  • Ron Paul for US President/ Daniel Hannan for UK Prime Minister 2012!!

  • Hey, Sorry for this random message, but I'm trying to start a blog about the undemocratic EU and the Eurozone economic prison, I'm blogging about the EU countries as a whole and wondered if you could take a look and possibly click the "Follow" button, here is the link europeanuniontruths.blogspot.com, It would make my week if you clicked Follow

  • Can you imagine if this happened in our country? Holy shit that would be awesome!!!!

  • YEAH!!!!

  • I would imagine this little man will burn in Hell because he is gay and Jesus hates fags

  • @CrubbDaTubb He is married to a woman. How can he be gay?

  • @mikesheen741 His wife is a beard for his sexuality. He looks and talks like a homersxule

  • @CrubbDaTubb How does he look and talk like a homersxule?

  • @CrubbDaTubb He's a heterosexual Conservative Christian? Go spread your hate somewhere else, let the grown-ups talk politics and economics.

  • @MerckZ How dare you speak like this. You make me sick and you will burn in Hell, forever in Hell

  • @CrubbDaTubb Thanks mate, I'll send you a postcard.

  • @MerckZ Burn in Hell

  • @CrubbDaTubb As mikesheen has already mentioned Dan Hannan is married so how can he be gay. You say Jesus hated fags - so do I, I have always hated smokers.

  • @CedricShufflewick Did you find that joke in a Christmas cracker you ghoulish man

  • You can't just look at government borrowing and call it the 'economy' and blame all our economic woes on that. There's much more to it, including our frightening private sector debt, and private debt in general: the economy is really the sum of consumer spending, investment, government spending and net exports - infact if you stop government spending when the private side of the economy fails, then nothing is being spent, and the private side falls in to what we call a depression.

  • @jonnywardy Everybody knows that the econmies cycle, through booms and busts, good times and bad times if you will. These generally happen every five years or so. Yes youre right, there is no way Gordon's government could have stopped the economic reccession but they could have prepared us for it. You clearly don't understand the economics of politics...

  • @jonnywardy This is fundamentally flawed: "the economy is really the sum of consumer spending, investment, government spending and net exports." Suppose the government enacts a "front yard tax" in the U.S., in which all persons must provide the government one hundred US dollars in exchange for the privilege of owning a front yard. Each year, the government assigns each citizen who paid the front yard tax to mow one neighbor's lawn and compensates the mower with $100. (continued)

  • @jonnywardy (continuation-pt. 2) In this hypothetical microcosm of society, lawn care services can no longer be privately exchanged for real goods or wealth. Let's suppose that before this new tax act, the average person made $20/hr and that mowing a lawn represented a $25/hr economic opportunity cost (time spent mowing rather than working, fuel and maintenance for the mower, etc.) If we had 100 people in our little society and each paid $20 to have their lawn mowed by a professional (continued)

  • @jonnywardy (continuation-pt. 3) and each lawn needed mowing 10 times per year, $20,000 would be spent each year on lawn services. Under this new tax-rebate-mow-your-neighbors-lawn policy, $100,000 would be spent on lawn care services each year. 10 hours each year are spent by each citizen mowing their neighbors lawns INSTEAD of performing the tasks that the citizen specializes in. The doctors, bakers, lawyers and astrophysicist each close up shop for one hour to mow their neighbors lawn.

  • @jonnywardy (part 4) At the end of the year, each citizen lost $250 in unrealized wages and lawn care resources, a $25,000 loss to the economy. The lawn serviceman, who previously made $20/hr (having mowed lawns all of his life, he was quite proficient at it, and he had invested in superior lawn care equipment since he would use it often enough to see a return on his investment) was out of work, a $20,000 loss to the economy. Subtracting these losses from $100,000 gives us $55,000.

  • @jonnywardy (part 5) $55,000 is greater than $20,000. Which policy was more productive, one where more money changed hands, or the one where the task of caring for a lawn was executed more efficiently?

NOTE: I just realized that I neglected to mention in part 1 of this hypothetical scenario that this is a tax that would be collected during each lawn care period (ten times per year).

  • @jonnywardy I'm sure there are some minor discrepancies in the thought experiment I laid out for you, although I would hope that none are so grave that they distract you from my main point: The exchange of wealth is not necessarily the result of productivity. I would also like to challenge you to examine the parable of the broken window (Wikipedia has an excellent article on the subject).

  • check out 4 u 4 lol

  • That told him, what a joke Brown was.

  • Daniel Hannan MEP for Prime Minister of the United Kingdom!!!!

  • The BBC did an article on this the other day, they span it to say that people watched this other than the reason they agree with Hannan. BBC are a joke. tinyurl!com!cqot9r9

  • @Stephanavich Im watching this and i dont agree so in fact they where right... awk

  • @louisdm123 thats because ur a cretin

  • Hear! Hear!

  • Yeah!!! Rock...stayin' alive

  • I wish Ron Paul had Daniel Hannan's bite.

  • Dan Hannan should join UKIP!!!

  • @epdavies100 UKIP should join a conservative party led by Dan Hannan. Dan Hannon should be the leader of the Conservatives.

  • @decap008 I agree, David Cameron I would'nt even regard as a Conservative.

  • VOTE RON PAUL 2012

A vote for Dr. Paul is a vote for yourself. He wants to limit gov intrusiveness in our lives & allow US to make our own choices. Stop politicians and the elites from thinking that they are so smart that they know how to run our lives better than we do. He is one of the few politicians that will make difficult decisions, he will balance the budget by his 2nd year, while other politicians plan to balance the budget after their term

LISTEN, UNDERSTAND, DECIDE. RON PAUL 2012

  • @epdavies100 Yeah, because the Conservatives are really eurosceptic aren't they? Hannnan talks sense but the leadership of his party doesn't.

    VOTE UKIP!

  • He talks shit like our politicians. Verbally humiliating his opponents, except with a much higher degree of literacy and an eloquence in his mannerisms rarely observed of in my country.

I've seen this guy on a few corporate whore media outlets, and he utterly destroys the paltry, pathetic excuses for political contributors the networks can muster. Mr. Hannan also seems to have consistency and reason on his side.

You guys in the UK are missing out in not giving this dude the PM title.

  • @joker52mlb His party leader is in power and he's fucking useless.

  • @FreedomFighterUK Well, that is the word around the campfire here in the states.

Our Hannan would be like a Ron Paul, or a Kucinich. That being; good people, true statesmen, principled etc... Not incompetent, stupid, useless and/or corrupt much like the leadership and the majority of the people within the parties they represent.

Anyway, that's a shitty situation about Cameron and all. Is UK independence from the EU a wide scale, shared sentiment over there? Just curious...

  • Daniel Hannan is a HERO

  • that was epic!!!!

  • obama should listen up

  • I am from Poland and Daniel is my hero!!!

  • Well done for exposing this useless, desperate reckless moron for the absolute "fucking disaster" we all know he was and is. Everyone should read "Gordon is a moron" by Vernon Coleman and hand it down to future generations so they know how our country was destroyed by this incompetent cretin.

  • @riskkybusiness So, you have no argument against what he says, so you resort to character attacks? Shows what your comment is worth.

  • maayong nga modelo sa mga leader nga dunay katngdanan og resposibilidad.

  • It's been over 2 years since Daniel gave this speech but it is still riveting and powerful.

  • Hear, Hear!

  • So hard to solve these problems

  • What a complete and utter boss

  • Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

  • ehm is ja cool

  • Holy fuck this man has balls.

  • This is how to speak, how to state a case, expose a socialist rat like Brown. Brown was spending someone else's money to look good, hurting those he takes from and those leeches he gives too.

  • This guy is horrible

  • This guy's got the same voice as Dave Gorman!!

  • Hey, UK, what are you doing?! You need someone like this as your Prime Minister!

  • naja guckt mich an bin ein elch

  • Gordon Brown did his best to bankrupt the UK. Not only that, but he handed over the last of their sovereignty to the EU when he signed the Lisbon Treaty. Britain is no longer a country, just a state of the EU.

  • Comment removed

  • lol Made of secrets

  • I like this guy!

Come to the states I'll vote for you over my Rep any day..

  • @AlfiePotts

Cain supported the bailouts, stands in support of torture and is a sexual harasser. He's one puppet!

  • @DeathCrawler1 Ron Paul is the clear constitutionalist

  • Every country got there problems. Even if the country was perfect there would be some group that had problems with it. From left to right its almost all about money. So when a politician says somethin you agree with, knod in agreeance and knod even more money into the pockets of people who try and conform to popular opinion into office and a position of power. Cause one day they'll do somethin to buk u

  • If the UK is in slightly better shape today than some of the other countries it's only because the UK Government has cut back on spending money they don't have. The US is heading for a major fall with Obama at the helm. I had great hopes when he was elected but he's turned out to be one of the worst presidents in history. It's unlikely Ron Paul will be president (unfortunately) so hopefully Cain will get a chance. It would be nice to see someone with some business experience running the US.

  • "I've long accepted that you're pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for these things" Great line!!! Lmao!

  • Ron Paul for US President! Daniel Hannan for British PM!

  • @bserusha

That would herald an era of western resurgence.

    I'll drink to that.

  • @bserusha

And if the Brits don't want him, Eire -- or Perú -- could need a PM like him as well ;-)

  • This is misleading, to say the least! You CAN borrow your way out of debt, by SPENDING what you have borrowed. This will raise aggregate demand and get the wheels of the economy moving again. In fact, government MUST step in a keep demand up, or else the recession will never end. The economy could enter a deflationary spiral. It is government's role and DUTY to step in when markets fail.

  • @MortimerTheClueless Yes that might be true in certain situations but this deranged reckless moron took borrowing and spending to another level while the country was already massively in debt . He was the worst PM we have ever had by a country mile. We will have children not even born yet that will paying off the debt racked up by this useless irresponsible cretin.

  • @MortimerTheClueless These Keynesian fairy tales have been applied by countless politicians reacting to economic crises, always with the same results: prolonging the crisis, making it worse. This inevitable effect could once again be seen with the effect of the bailouts and stimulus packets on the current crisis: surprise surprise the problem has not been solved and the crisis has worsened.

  • @MortimerTheClueless Besides, it is very easy to see the inefficiency of your "solutions" given the nature of the current crisis (and the problem Mr Hannan talks about in this video). We have a government debt crisis partly caused by excessive government spending, and you want to resolve it by more debt and more spending? Do you even believe what you are saying?

If he were alive, Keynes would be appalled by his modern supporters: he would never have advocated such utter such utter no-sense.

  • @MortimerTheClueless I wonder how badly this plan will have to fail to change your mind on Keynesian economics.

  • You should watch The Shadow feeds on Gordon Brown. Mwa ha ha ha ha.

  • i don't even live in the UK and i liked it

  • Amazing speaker

  • Epic epic speech!

  • Well said Daniel

  • Hannan for PM!

  • Mr Hannan, if you ever would like to leave that socialist cesspool of Britain and become an American, you can crash on my couch and eat my Doritos as you go through the citizenship process. (no homo).

  • @LordoWar43 Socialist cesspool, what a joke. How's that credit rating again, American?

You'll have to talk to the EUROPEAN debt agencies over that.

  • @Grawpify Our credit rating is a reflection of implementing welfare state policies you Euros championed because we protected you under our Military/Nuclear umbrella from the Soviets at great cost to us, but little cost to you. For thousands of years, you Euros have fought your neighbors, it wasn't until the United States picked up the defense tab that you stopped that. Oh and lets not begin to talk about how the United States rebuilt your rubble pile-continent under the Marshall Plan.

  • @LordoWar43 Okay, let us begin picking apart your fabrications. Everything that you're referencing happened YEARS ago in Europe.

There isn't a "welfare state" here, not in Great Britain and in Eastern Europe. Our Government doesn't pay off the top 5% of it's people in a desperate, gasping attempt at maintaining the Status Quo.

Your Government never impedes on wars until the last second, because you're cowards, fucking up every conflict ever; i.e. Afghanistan, the Bay of Pigs, and Iraq.

  • @LordoWar43 No you are right England is a Socialist cesspool thanks to those dumb idiots that vote Labour. Labour have ruined this country beyond recognition and it will never recover .It is just a socialist, multi-cultural dumping ground for third world scum because Labour pursued an "Open Door" immigration policy to increase their own electorate. Our identity , heritage and sense of being Britisih has been eroded away thanks to Tony Bliar and that pathetic grinning "One-eyed Scottish Idiot"

  • Him and Nigel Farage are AWESOME!

  • Gordon Brown down....Obama next. All Socialists are tanking...Marxist Buffoons.

  • He was in the U.S. media for a while, and I couldn't ever remember his name. I'm so glad I've found him again! This guy is a fantastic speaker.

  • Hannan is the RON PAUL of Europe! Go on, break the Union up!

  • Mr Hannahan could have just as appropriately been addressing any president of the e.u. past or present. And if we do no more than hope, future presidents too.

  • This is one person I WISH would immigrate to the US.

  • "One Of The Most Entertaining Speeches I Have Seen In Many Years!"

We need a person like Daniel Hannan telling Obama how bad his misguided policies are messing up this Country like Daniel Hannan from the UK told off PM Gordon Brown!

Could some one please make A youtube by changing Gordon Brown sitting there and replacing him with Obama in the scene instead!? Every policy he is complaining about is the same exact as the U.S. Current problems.

Like when that lady in Philly told Obama off!

  • so Hot, frisky and outgoing girl, who wants to have fun

  • Socialism/Marxism proves yet again, it is a complete failure.

But what is the socialist/Marxist reasoning? Socialism/Marxism failed because there wasn't enough of it.

What is the socialist/Marxist conclusion? More socialism/Marxism.

Same is happening in the U.S. under the same and different labels: liberalism, socialism, Marxism, progressivism, etc...

  • @antimarxism : Very well put. And, you know - looking back at Brown's years in Labour - I'm convinced he was always a communist and never stopped being one - he just went for the fabian tactic instead of the traditional revolutionary one. And these creeps always blame the free market - they did so after the 'first' Wall Street crash and even Alan Greenspan blamed the latest crisis on a "flaw in the free market". These guys never learn.

  • @MaxTallon Exactly. All the "failures" of the "free" market were due to government intervention.

  • @antimarxism : I will add one thing. There was a depression in America in the early 1920's which no-one (But Tom Woods) seems to talks about - one which was over almost as quickly as it started: the interesting thing is that, in this instance, the Federal Reserve was still in its infancy & didn't get involved. The government didn't get involved either: the free market was left to 'deal' with it and by a remarkable coincidence the economy was correcting itself within months.

  • @MaxTallon Great example!

  • @antimarxism You know, that same argument is used by capitalist when responding to critics of the system. "Oh, well, you see, capitalism didn't fail, because the system we have isn't capitalist enough!" It's a last ditch argument, when all else has failed.

Now, was the Soviet Union socialist or marxist? One would only need to scan the works of actual socialists and marxists to realize that it wasn't.

  • @CapitalistOverlord What "system" are you referring to?

    "only need to scan..."

I'm sure that is all that you've done. Don't overwork yourself now.

  • @antimarxism

This just goes to show how stupid you and Hannan are. The UK's in vastly better shape today than most of rest of the EU, the US, or Japan.

  • @AntiSchiff So you like the smell of one turd over the other, huh? Nice fallacy.

  • @antimarxism

Okay, let me break this down so that hopefully even an idiot like you can understand. Hannan said above that the UK was sailing into the recession in the worst shape of any European country. Instead, the UK was and is in better shape than most. This is clear almost 3 years later.

    Understand now, stupid?

  • @AntiSchiff The UK is NOT in "vastly better shape" than "most of the rest of the EU". You would be cherry-picking extremely narrow economic indicators to come to that idiotic conclusion.

And yes, this still holds true....."you like the smell of one turd over the other".

"Japan"? Really? LOL! In a desperate attempt to prove your point, you pick JAPAN, a country that had....what some would call......a few issues out of their control.

And YOU have the nerve to call ME "stupid"? LOL!

  • @antimarxism 1-10 how right wing are you?

  • @TheJaaysog On which issue?

  • @antimarxism broadly speaking just about everything i suppose

  • @TheJaaysog What I can think of at the moment is pro-individual liberty/responsibility, pro-limited government, anti-government/state totalitarian/dictatorial control over the individual, anti-communism/Marxism/etc...

We've passed the tipping point in the US, collapse is inevitable as proven historically, so basically any discussion is moot, pointless, mental masturbation at this juncture.

  • @antimarxism so what would you say if i told you i use to me in my youth between about 16 and 24 a member of a Trotskyist group, tell you the truth while we were all revolutionaries we were only really there for the beer, girls and weed!

  • @TheJaaysog "beer, girls and weed!"

Haha.....that can certainly be a strong draw.

  • DANSLAPPED!!

  • any chance this guy becomes PM of UK some day?

  • @dano1881 We had a complete moron running the country from 2007 to 2010 so anything is possible.

  • @dano1881 Very unlikeley his own party doesn't like him. He's cosidered to much like Margeret Thacher (right wing) so they try and distance themselves from him.

  • i dont see the point of uploading this, without including the answer, if only for balance. - a lot of what he said was true, but his demented weasel delivery & personal attacks devalues it for me.

  • @platocardiff He did get a chance to respond,it was called a General Election!!!

  • sooo applicable to our current situation here in the U.S. !

  • I just wish there was a constant live feed of brown in the corner of the clip :-)

  • Brown was an unelected buffoon who, along with tony bliar, brought our nation to its knees.

Brown and Bliar are scum and should never be forgiven

  • Daniel Hannan for Prime Minister!!

  • Alistair Darling is also now busy sticking the knife into Gordon. We always suspected that the worst aspects of his leadership were true, despite the best efforts of the Labour spin machine.
