holy shit?!?!?!?!?!? this song has been in so many damn movies and i never new what it was! wooooooooooooooooooooooow. dumbfounded and in awe. good shit though. *applause*
well, according to BCSD his birthday is 7 September 1987...so he would have been...about 14...but I don't see how that's possible since he was the featured soloist on Free and that CD came out 5 October 2004 and he was still a soprano!!!!I guess it's possible it was recorded earlier than that but it dosn't say it was...
The release of "Free" was very delayed, particularly because Libera was changing labels. Many songs were recorded in 2002 and 2003 and premiered on Songs of Praise. When the album finally arrived, we'd already heard almost all the songs before. Also, Ben's voice was very late to change. He was singing soprano at 16, almost 17 years old ("Song for Bassanio" from the OST of The Merchant of Venice is one he recorded at that age).
i feel like im lost in a dark forest..with a full moon out. and someones slowly walking behind you and you know it but dont run or even turn around..this is beautiful and deadly..
i mean i t wa done FANTASTICALLY.. but i always think of like the nightmare before christmas or something.. maybe angels but instead of glowy and wearing white with wings and stuff you see them dressed all darkly... (im DEFINIETLY not always this creepy)
whoa check out my imagination.. i better stop :P GOOD JOB BOYS!
Yeah, I always thought it was kind of eerie! I have a Libera CD, and Lacrymosa is on it (one of my favorite Libera songs), and I always thought it was definitely eerie and dark, kind of like mist in a dark forest at night! Beautiful, but slightly eerie, which makes it all the more beautiful!
Isn't that "Aquarium" from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens? Very interesting incorporation...

Does anyone know how old Ben Crawley is here?
Ooh, i just thought, it's funny how both soloists of this song are called Ben (Ben Crawley and Ben Philipp) or maybe not lol
