1st place??? what kinda talent show was it? a NO talent show? im sorry, this isnt even CLOSE to what this song should be sung like, theres no emotion, no feeling and you sound monotone the entire time. Sorry, you need practice and need to MOVE and feel the song. d- effort in my book.
Just work on expanding your range so you can actually hit the octave he sings in (since you're singing an octave lower). Also, free the microphone from its stand. You can clutch it with both hands still, but you'll be freer to move around.
Well he isn't Pat ffs..but I actually think u did a good job, ur vids suck tho darlin, I've watched a few, the quality just sux, not ur singing...and yea i know it's live but still, get someone to do a good vid for you and you'll get better comments, just mho..and I don't really count anyway lol, but still posting it cause I can... rock on Jared...u do have a nice voice, but pick up the beat a bit :)

Thanks for the tips =]This was about a year and a half ago, so I've got a lot more confidence now, and I'm a little better at singing.
