It depends on your current level of play and your current knowledge of the game - This is not the same pill for a touring pro and Joe hacker!

But regardless your level of play you will never have too much of good compression/lag/geometry.

So, how about increasing that lag/compression in your strokes by monitoring pressure in your hands (check focus-on-pressure-points-to-fe­el-lag on my site)?

Can you tell more about your HCP or maybe have a video of your swing?
