  • love this video

  • Nice. VERY nice.

  • Great stuff Jeff. I wonder I didn't see this before. You're both moving excellently. A fantastic idea and the comparison was well structured.

  • Great work on this, always happy to see great people doing great kata.

  • Bravo!!! I've always wanted to see those katas compared like this. Please continue posting more !!

  • i really like this video, great job

  • If only you'd had somebody do the Shorin ryu version also there :)

  • @sakusuhorumu

That would be great. Maybe next year.

  • i am in goju-ryu and i dont undertstand seisan...

i havent learned it this way and ive learned it from a sensei in goju-ryu

  • Seisan is found in various styles. There are common elements, but they are different kata. Even in Goju it is performed differently. I will admit my seisan is not great, but I am doing Okinawan Goju. This will look different than Japanese shitei kata. Thanks for your post.

  • i do uechi ryu

  • seisan is an awesome kata

  • man, this video is great, I love how they did it so Jeff-san would get to a place in the Goju version, then Dana-chan would get to that similar place in the Uechi version, and the kata is done extremly well by both of them, very good :)

  • Thanks for your message. Your's is also technicaly very nice and interesting.

  • Un travail très intéressent! Merci.

  • Nice job Jeff-san, I know Dana from the Uechi ryu site, too!!
