Phisically, macs are more robust. Windows wouldn't have stirred as many mac users if it hadn't started to copy much of Mac OS X. I saw Windows 7, and i was amazed on how similar they made it out to be, with the dock and all
Funny, but the thing is, I haven't had any trouble whatsoever with vista. The only time I ever had trouble was when one of my drivers needed to be updated. Vista was able to find the problem so i could fix it easily.
Well I have quite a few "issues" with Vista, in work and at home. Programms and games just stop during execution, I even experienced some bluescreens in a quite short timespan. You cant open software help files anymore and on and on...
Yeah, it's odd how many people have issues with vista, I got ultimate a few months ago and so far no bluescreen, and minimal restarts. (mostly due to 3rd party programs)
Also I should mention, no spyware/viruses so far which is odd considering I had a ton on my XP system doing the same stuff on my vista. (do a daily scan for everything, but doesn't detect anything.)
