By downfall i mean the amount of respect he had in the underground hiphop scene. And he seems to have commercialised and given up to terrible producers and equally terrible productions. I know everyone has to make money, but this stuff just isnt appreciated by most of his original fans. Just not my cup of tea. :)

I just think its lost its edge. And did so after beats, rhymes and life was released. Everything else after he made [that i have heard] that seemed to have lost its originality. Maybe i have only heard a small portion of his later material, but from what i have heard, it just seems like hes lost his his originality, his edge. Same could be said for many hiphop artists around that time. Just my opinion.
