since the language they use in this song in not real, i wonder how long time it took for them to learn the text =D should have ended 1st instead of 2nd =(
I agree. If the winner had a song with an unreal language ... that would just be a beautiful message to the world that music is universal and language-independent .
thanks for all the comments :) i also think that this song was better than Sertab, but when i saw it during the final for the first time, i said to myself - we know the biggest loosers of this year contest, couldn't believe that ppl will vote for them, it was completly different. They deserved for the 1st place.
I can't understand a single word but the music and voices say it all...I fell in love with this song...it's so peaceful and vibrant at the same time...
belguim has some great music! each year there is a wonderfull song from belguim! just the east-block country's are one political block and we never gonne pass it!!
hopefully is ishtar this year in the final!!
people: VOTE FOR BELGUIM!!! IT'S A WONDERFULL SONG!!
Well... In my opinion the best year in eurovision was 1997. But it's true some songs in 2003 have been really good. This one from Belgium for instance :)
Somebody knows if the lyrics have any meaning? They just say it is an imaginary language but... anywhere I could find a translation or something.
Yeah, ipm from Colombia and i'v been seen Eurovision from many years, i`m agree that 2033 was one on of the best years,,great songs..rememeber Norway for example or Iceland, The turkey song was a surprise not for good was one of the worst winners ever, Belgium must been the winner
This song is the first of the ESC to be sung in a conlang. I think this has been great to criticize the fact the countries can nowsing in the languge they choose and not the official language of their country. This song should hav won I think, but its 2nd place has already been great.
Our BEST entry this decade, with 2004 and 2010 !!

@eveltjueeh or if Netherlands gave us 12 and Turkey 10 instead of Belgium 10 and Turkey 12:p or just those stupid Slovene give some more points

the real winner of 2003. it's a shame that belgium does not have immigrants to vote for her (like turkey or russia)

Notice how irrelevant is eurovision song contest with europe:the year that sanomi participated, won a song from middle east.
I think sanomi was one of the best participations ever appeared in the contest. It's a pity it lost the first position from a harem song!

Relax.
The Eurovision presentation was fine.
You should have won.
You don't need to remix anything. Leave it.

It's imaginary and Urban Trad are not going to translate it very soon.
