  • Ya I've thought of of this kind of thing before, but I would much more prefer it to dim the area of the windshield in line with the headlights of oncoming vehicles and my eyeballs. Adaptive window tinting would be awesome, and would make night driving much safer!

  • @legoman844

Many companies are working on these types of systems. There is even companies working on glasses that work on this principle.

No, BMW projects there image onto the windshield, and its usually only mph, navigation directions and stuff like that. They have night vision and things of that sort, but thats in there navigation screens. This is all built into there windshield.

  • Dammit! I thought i thought of this first...I still have some CRAZY implementations of this in my head. :P

  • @legoman844 Does it? I've been looking and I haven't really found much. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places?

  • i wonder how much money they spent on this crap that will never take off or cost more then any 1 is willing to pay.

  • @bbbd

This crap as you call it. Is human innovation.

This type of crap as you call it already exist on mobile phones and various military equipment.

It can transform our society for the better.

Price performance doubling means that this type of technology will become cheap enough at a certain point in the market so that everybody can afford it.

  • Lots of words but I didn't see the actual system here.

  • @sparkss4 yes, with moving head of driver and shiny sun !
