The way i learned is right middle on green.and align the rest of your fingers on Red through Orange

I use Left index for Green.

Left middle for red.

Ring for yellow

Pinkie for blue and and right hand middle finger when the blue and orange go back and forth. I think my method is easier that way in my opinion.

I can't elbow strum worth a damn, and I've managed to tap the intro about... 1 in every 75 tries due to strumming, then quickly moving my right hand to the fretboard to tap the blue and orange notes. Any way to consistently get this right would be appreciated.

for this one. hold green the entire time duh. find a finger position comfortable for you. to start it, hold red and green at the start with your fingers in position, and elbow strum the first red and go at it, the gh3 timing window is enourmous. strum it early, dont worry about the timing :). start on slowest for practice! :D

yes. hammer-ons and pull-offs. like on a real guitar, on a fast solo they don't need to strum the string twice if the note is on the same string, they hammer-on a finger or pull-off the finger. GH3 does this for a more "realistic" gameing experience, and it makes it easier. since after every note is a green note, you just tap the other notes really fast to play green (pull-off) and then you just need to tap the whole thing. The notes after the green ones are you're hammer-ons

i prefer (you people should do this instead it's way more accurate than elbowing.) strumming the first note normally, and doing the first four notes with my normal playing hand, then while doing that move my right hand up to the frets, and then keep going-using the pattern this guy does. It takes more practice maybe, but the elbowing is harder to guess when to strum

Here the green button is a hammer-on. The rest of the notes as well are hammer-ons. Since you can hold down green and play any single note with it you can just hold down green to make it much easier that you don't have to keep tapping green like you are having a seizure.
