Also, nelso is correct, it had to be altered as the "bells" only has a range of 1.3 octaves. Not nearly enough to play the song. You know how I know this? I'm a percussionist. Oh, and one more thing; at least this person had the guts to record himself playing something and put it on youtube.

Good God! To the people saying that it's a "glockenspiel" and not "bells" it's technically a beginner's practice "bell kit" that you get for ~$60. A glockenspiel is friggin expensive if it's a good quality one. Also, these can be considered bells, as not all bells are hand bells, or chime bells.

-_-, bells are made of some kind of a stone or somthing (I'm no expert of what those insturments are made from), but xylophones are made from wood(I think), and have tubes on the bottom to englarge sound, it also makes a more of a Asian style sounding melody, the bell's mellody is more like a ringing bells. Plus if you use wood mallets on the insturment that I am playing, they will break(little by little), but they will stay unbroken if used on xylophone.
