I think it's a great idea for this kinda stuff to be on Youtube. It lets younger generations see how great TV was back then. Sanford and Son is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. I think if Youtube wants to go the pay-per-view route, they should make it a monthly fee for TV Shows. They could put every show there ever was on Youtube, shows that never get run any more.

I don't think many people understand the point of these shows back then...

This is little bit past my time but the point of these shows was to SHOW how stupid people perceptions of race were. Think about the time period. Just after civil rights.These type of shows had a character who was over the top with his prejudices( i.e. Fred Sanford and Archie Bunker). I think these shows were meant to show what people thought back then and how crazy it was...
