  • Love the honda game but it's dead not worth time money or headaches. Always being a hot target for cops even though your not doing anything getting pointless tickets just because they have nothing better to do. Alway worrying about where to park it and if it will be there when you get out because they are very easy to steal and everyone wants your hard earned parts. I Sold my 93 integra GS-R spent like 9k on the car it was fun and fast but in the end not worth it.

  • Nice ... Raise the compression ratio alittle to 11.0:1 that will help more.again good work.

  • not fake.. only an idiot can say civic was jacked up...

  • your engine maintenance thing is red.... might wanna get it back to green, eh?

  • Were these the tuner series or the pro series?

  • looks like you got perfect tracton in a fwd i dont beleave its just a cam maybe you jacked the front up before doing this

  • @andyroo253 i dont know if im blind but it looks like 40mph in first gear. i know at 8k rpm gsr trannie do 40mph and b16 tranny is a lil short it probs 40mph in 9k rpm.

  • low miles!!

  • SHITS WEAK!! na jus playin its a slite bit faster than stock thinkin bout some cams 2 and some head work.

  • it looks like 40 to me

  • hahah the audio is hella late

  • that's because the audio is ahead of the video ♫

  • damn taking it up to 9k stock internals?

  • @KungPao916 yeah, after market cam you can take it to 9k. i think stage 3 cam you can take it to 10k prm but the power end at 9,500 i believe

  • slow

  • i love those gauges

  • So do you have anything else done to the car at all? I didn't think cams would make that much of a difference. I drive an EM1 with just I/H/E, and yours seems way faster. Let me know.

  • You have the same exact vid......

    SAME exact vid.

  • The car was stolen 3 years ago, I made this video so long ago... To answer your question, it had S2k cams, JMD header/AEM CAI/Sk2 exhaust. Sk2 valve train, Apexi VAFC, exedy clutch, itr fly wheel, and a ton of tuning. It was pretty quick for the mods.

  • where was it stolen from

  • very cool. yeah you'll see more out of the cams usually if you have intake/exhaust taken care of first. picking up my '00 Si this wekeend, cant wait.

  • very nice. what valve springs? (itr ?)

  • nice, amazing what changing the valve timing can do, eh?

  • I did notice a difference with the cams, however; like winjury said, it took 15+ runs on the dyno to get everything running properly. You can not just drop these cams in and go; even though they are a stage 1 cam. I also needed a jdm header (2.5'' collector) to get the full power out of the cams. I don't know why the sound is off on these vids, but you get the idea.

  • on switching out cams- the only way you will get any more hp out of a <2.0L is if you stick it on the dyno, and work with retarding and advancing it. Just sticking them on, will do nothing at all. And lastly, you better know what you are doing, because if your time is off, even one tooth, your timing belt will go to hell with potentially alot of other parts. good luck:)

  • That accelerates well. Did you see anoticeable difference in power/tprque with the Stage1 cams on the B16A2? Thanks

  • you can see the rev counter run across the whole rpm smoothly. i cant wait to put my spoon cams in :D

  • spoon, mugen, and skunk2, three best brands for what they make, can never go wrong, proper engineering :D

  • LOL There are reports of Skunk2 cams breaking. Spoon and Mugen are reliable Major Brand Names, and Skunk2 is just something affordable and decent. I wouldn't trust Skunk2 Internals though.

  • Maybe in your experience they've broken. But every car I've seen lasted long past the turbo itself and other parts.

Also, if your buying ebay, your not always getting true gear. I keep telling my friends, with the money they spend on fake parts that break over and over and over, they could have bought the real one for less and have it last longer.

So sure, in your experience, they are terrible. In mine, not a squeak of problems.

  • They haven't broken on me, but there are threads on hondatech and other forums about Skunk2 Cams breaking. I don't have any major brands on my car though, just affordable and reliable brands.
