i love this game i have beaten it once im working on twice and wat makes this game better is that they let u get japanese and english songs on there! which i love both languages! my friends still make fun of me for that -_-'......BUT!! this is like my 4th fav.
Not only the best song in the game... Honestly it's the only song I can /tolerate/ in the game. =p
Each to their own, but the soundtrack was probably the only thing I really didn't like about this game, other than being forced to use certain characters against bosses. BEAT SUCKS, GIVE ME MY JESUS BEAM BACK.
I haven't played the game at all, but I really want to buy it CUZ of the soundtrack. It reminds me of the good ol' days of Jet Set Radio back on Dreamcast. Them crazy techno remixes~
@SephyreDelmalo As I said, to each their own. Rap and mainstream techno are two of the few music types I simply don't give a chance, for reasons that I'm reminded of every time I'm forced to hear them. I mean really, the game prominently features goth fashion, you'd think they could've put in a few metal tracks.
@SephyreDelmalo I think it depends on the kind of rap. If it's like, "yo ima kill someone and have sex", then yes, forget that. But there are some good artists out there, usually the obscure ones.
Whoa, the Japanese version of this song just randomly appeared in a battle on my game. Is that supposed to happen? So, they didn't just replace it with the English one? o_O
Hmm...I heard the English one first, too...but I heard this style of singing on a Japanese radio @ a ramen restaurant, and I think the Japanese version is good too. But either way, I like the English version and the Japanese version.
I think the english lyrics are crap. I mean, they're so cliche. But I think the language fits better into the song for some reason. The Jap version is great, don't get me wrong, but it sounds... weird. xD That's why I like the english version better.
Clichèd or not, they are exactly what TWEWY is for RPG's: damn fresh new air. Best game I've ever played in years, over-the-top soundtrack that would put anything else to shame.
Yeah, that's true. I have to admit I seem to enjoy the japanese version alot as well. I downloaded the full soundtrack, and now when I play TWEWY, I can sing along during battles xD
Weird? I don't think so;It's the language it was originally in. The English version sounds corny, while any fans of Japanese pop music (j-pop) like myself would enjoy the original Japanese song because this sounds, like you said, something you would actually hear in Japanese music. I mean, the English is a bit catchy, but the Jap lyrics fit just perfect, or at least I think so. The Japanese version is waaaaay better. ^-^
They have two soundtracks, originals and Subarashiki Kono Sekai + The World Ends with You

@Shinkada Yeah, that's perfectly fine. Metal tracks woulda been nice too. =] I'm pretty broad when it comes to music. 'Cept country and 99% of rap.
